How do I qualify for the $600 discount as an existing Fi customer?
An existing Fi customer is somebody who has been active on Fi on or before January 5th, 2020.
To qualify for the $600 discount, you need to:
Activate the Samsung S20, S20+, or S20 Ultra on the same account used to purchase the phone.
Activate the phone on a full service plan (data-only SIMs do not qualify) within 30 days of the shipment confirmation email and remain active on Google Fi for 90 consecutive days.
The discounted price will automatically apply during checkout. If you do not meet the conditions above, the discounted amount will be charged to your Google Pay account to match the full price of the phone.
I was tempted to pull the trigger yesterday after I sent PM to you but still thinking to make another 90 days in Fi.

the phone I said it was. Luckily, having been through a similar thing with Samsung a couple of years back, I took many, many photographs. Finally, after 45 minutes with
customer service and being upgraded several times I got a solution. Ended up getting $370. So, all told, I got the Note 20 Ultra for almost $900 bucks off. VERY worth it,
but be prepared to fight.......

I'm not trying to argue here -- just from what I got from the rep and the language in the Promotion Terms, it seems like it would work. Plus, I'm anxious about the deal and would like to know if I qualify...
If I have the chat saved, will they credit me even if the rep was incorrect?
I'm on Verizon now, and the wife needs good service as she travels all around our region, including the outskirts of towns, in case she has car trouble or something.
On the fence about pulling the trigger - it's unclear to me how T-Mobile/Sprint networks are around here and if there's bad coverage how much US Cellular roaming is available from the other big carriers...
If anyone has any insight to find out that would be most appreciated. (I did look at US Cellular's 4G coverage of the area and it looks good, just don't know if Google Fi leverages it or how that decision is made)
She has a Pixel 3 - according to Google Fi's website this does do network switching so I think we could try it before committing?

Recent example - I have $20 credit in my FI account and I chatted with the rep last week to apply $20 credit towards my current month due $15. She said I applied the credit and it will be updated in 24 hours. I am sure she didn't do anything because in all carriers, adjustment are instant. It is more than one week nothing happened and autopay cleared $15 on scheduled date. Two cents are - Don't trust FI chat rep words and better don't touch your existing account.
If you activate with existing line and after 90 days, you may get a msg like you didn't activate the phone with new line. Try to avoid unnecessary head ache with Fi. Lot of stories in Reddit.
