FYI cheaper on the Jade Leaf website if you subscribe and use the current promo code (which popped up on the main page for me).

This is culinary grade - for cooking, baking, smoothies etc. If you want best drinking matcha - you need to go with ceremonial grade. There is a difference in taste. Price of course reflects it.

Can you use ceremonial grade in drinks (is it universal although more expensive) or do you have to use food grade here?

Ceremonial is usually used for drinking "straight". However no one will stop you if you want to mix it with something else or use for baking etc. Only factor is the cost - culinary grade is more bitter and "lower" quality hence more suitable for mixing with other ingredients.

Thanks for posting this matcha deal!

While I didn't buy it, I was able to leverage it to ask AprikaLife ([email protected]) for a similar deal ($14.50) on their 3.5oz bag of matcha sold for $21.50 on their website (https://aprikamatcha.com/products...7717586038).

AprikaLife's reviews seem top notch (https://www.amazon.com/Organic-Ja...hen&sr=1-1) and had wanted to try it for a while -- just still am working on a supply of tea bagged matcha that is dwindling down.
