Quest 2 apparently has gotten better than it was!

A guy in the JoinUsInVR steam group chat posted the steps on how to enable the higher PCVR data rate than the default PCVR settings. He said after doing that it lowered the latency and looked almost as good as the Valve Index when playing steam games (which are a fraction of the cost as buying from Oculus).

Anyone else try that yet?

It has cross over $399 and says login for exchange pricing... So it's still $399?

Yep, still $399. Actual pricing doesn't display until you log in.

Just FYI Facebook account is required. And they ban fake accounts so you're device becomes a brick from what I'm seeing from some users.

Yeah, I would avoid Oculus because of it's ties to Facebook. I sold my Rift S because it was forcing me to merge my oculus acct to a Facebook account. Dealbreaker.

Is 64GB sufficient storage for most users?

I recently got the quest 2 and while you do have to connect it to facebook I really enjoy it. You can not only play standalone but you can also use it with PCVR wired and wireless. If connecting to facebook is a deal breaker for you im sorry but I would consider it worth it just for the amount of content you can get with this

If I'm using this mostly for connection to Steam for VR Games, am I good to just get the 64gb, or should I spring for the 256?

Except, maybe you save on taxes. In my state, that saves me around $25.00. Worth it.
