My company gave out free generic drink containers that work better, it's not hard to make one.
To get an even slicker deal, wait a week or two and pick up one of these from Amazon Warehouse. I am consistently able to get more than 50% off by waiting for these to show up 'used' and just wash them thoroughly.

Especially the inner silicone lid and gasket.
I saw remedies to pop the silicone pieces in the oven for 30 minutes to get rid of the smell and it did but it just comes back after a few days...
