Do the EA games require both Origin and Epic Launcher to be installed?

It might. Squadrons requires both to be running to be played if purchased from Epic.

I hear the game has had the majority of it's micro transactions removed and it's a pretty solid game.

Anyone know how this works for those who already own the base game on Origin? Will this just give those people the Celebration edition skins and such? Or will it force base game-players to login through Epic after getting this?

When i try to install from epic launcher it's telling me "please wait while we install origin".

Then you log into origin, and you actually see it in the origin library.

I had the regular edition of the game from an earlier deal for $5 or $6. Might as well get this Celebration edition for Free. Smilie
Best game given free on epic games since Alien AI, Jurassic, and some of the smaller games!

I just started the install in Epic Games and it forced the Origin app open and signed in before it would proceed.
