I purchased a hdmi switch and bluetooth/2.4G wireless keyboard and mouse to control two laptops and a desktop, using one monitor for the PC or as an extension. I prefer the wireless inputs and total cost was only around $40 off Amazon.

Be mindful of the version of HDMI supported. Many cheap HDMI KVMs wont go above 1080p or will only do 4k@30

The usb-c to display port is abit off in this bundle. Right? What part of the connection will use both these items?

Same question here. Seems like this is only worth it if you need the KVM switch AND the cable for different purposes.
