Is there anything special that you had to do in order for the code to work?

The code didnt work for my main account and I see it says no guest checkout required so not sure how to make it work. I believe that code was said to work for new accounts only that then also subscribe to the newsletter pop up or something. Correct me if im wrong?

I got it to apply by typing it in manually, instead of copy and paste, try that.

Seems like a good deal but if the OP or any of you actually figure out to get it to work, I'll be pulling the trigger. Otherwise just seems like a waste of bandwidth to be posting this deal here.

I typed it in manually, initially got it to go through in my cart for $386.99, then got this when I went to finalize:

"OOPS... The email address associated with your account is not eligible for promo code ONLYUA2A."

Arrrg. Plus I'd have to pay $20+ sales tax (MA) which really sucks. Oh well. If anyone has further tips, please help a geek out here.

Tried that too. No joy. Of course I'm using an existing Newegg account that I've had for years that I've used for purchases with them. I guess that's the problem. If I were to create a new account, do you think NE would catch it? After all, same name/shipping address/billing info.

The biggest difference is that the 10850 will run hotter due to inferior silicon binning. The 10850k is more or less one of the hottest chips you can get. For more details on the differences, check here:

https://www.anandtech.com/show/16...l-flagship

"The point at which the two processors mostly differ is on power and thermals. The Core i9-10850K is a less strict bin of the silicon, and this is showcased very much in a couple of metrics. If you get over the fact that both processors are going north of 250 W at full load, our Core i9-10850K was drawing 15-20W more peak power, which is 6-8% higher, despite being 100 MHz slower. This manifested moreso in the processor thermals, where we were easily going north of 100ÂșC on this newer processor."

Fancy packaging, and a slightly better overclocking capability if you use custom loop. I tried at least 3 different 10900K's and 3 different 10850K's, and the difference was marginal with NZXT Z73 AIO. OC was about the same. Temp was less than 3C apart. Boost clock was similar.
