A bed or a zero gravity full body massage chair? My apartment is only large enough for one or the other....

Insignia is a Bestbuy store brand - aka the cheapest generic wholesaler they can find and then slap their logo on.

I have been following this one for a couple months researching affordable options for 2D massage chairs. To me, this is a rebadged chair from BestMassage who makes Osaki clones.
This is an almost identical chair to the TruMedic MC-1500 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wr2DKU6AiBk with some button layout changes on the remote. Good price for what is the same chair (TruMedic model) at Costco for $1999 https://www.costco.com/trumedic-mc-1500-instashiatsu-massage-chair.product.100529242.html [costco.com]

This is also the same chair as the NFL massage chairs from Costco over the holiday for $1199 (with different remote) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cIo1re_gYTQ . I purchased one of those but received the wrong NFL team version so that is going back for refund and this one will replace it. Scheduled delivery for Tuesday Jan 12th.

Here is the PDF manual for the Insignia chair https://files.bbystatic.com/t7c5fSXpKk7FWHmcA5Yhzw%3D%3D/NS-MGC300BK1_20-0445_WEB_V3_EN_Final_lr.pdf... [bbystatic.com]

You seem to know a lot about massage chairs and I was wondering why are all the ones I've seen in the US, despite a lot of them being Asian brands, are bulky? I was in Japan and picked up a Thrive CHD 3400 which is relatively compact but for my 5'8" and 165lbs, it works really well and didn't cost a lot (about $350, but then shipping cost). Anyhow, I use that chair almost every other day for the last 5yrs, but I'd love one that goes even lower on the back and with a heat function would be nice. This one on Amazon for example doesn't look bulky and wondering if there are PROS/CONS to the bulky design I see on-sale often on SD vs the more slim design? https://www.amazon.com/Human-Touc...8162&psc=1 . Thanks.

I think they are bulky because of the rollers and airbags.

rollers are in the more slim profile chairs too, those aren't just simple vibrating "massage" chairs. Air bags I'm not too familiar with so I may have to look up what's the advantage. I was just wondering the big bulky chairs sold in US are because typical american is like over 230lbs, but also could be 5'10" or more.

looks like this Insignia Massage Chair is the same as Osaki OS-Aster which is now available for $1,299 at Home Depot https://www.homedepot.com/p/TITAN.../313512225
