I bought this phone from amazon for $55. It was surprised that it was super laggy at first. I disabled most of the the Moto apps and now it's good.

Also, I had to figure out how to put the home button on my phone. Why does Motorola seems to think swiping is easier than having a home button?
yeah I was able to disable most of the TracFone bloat except for the device pulse app

So was gonna do it but it says estimated delivery date 9/6/2020? Is that common?
Doc and Marty are going to roll up to deliver it four months ago!

All kidding aside - I purchased one back around Thanksgiving when Amazon had them on sale and love the thing for the money paid. I'm not a super-user, it replaced one of the TF G6 deals - and is a good step up from that in my experience.

That battery capacity on this low end phone is superb
Edited to say I originally misread this but agree completely.

For $100 this is a pretty good deal. The 365 service is also a nice bonus.
I agree, very good deal. I got in on the $55 deal for the Tracfone version in late October, but it did not come with the year of service. By the time I add that, I'm probably up to $95-$100. Of course, I can choose whether I want T-Mobile, AT&T or Verizon towers when I buy the card for the year of service.

Does this require new activation or can I use it on existing line? Will the 365 plan stack onto my existing?
No, Yes, Yes. If you are a current trac customer you can transfer your phone number and service to the new phone. I recommend setting up an account on trac's web site and using chat to do the transfer as you can then save a record of the chat in case some or all of your minuets get lost (wouldn't be the first time that happened).

I got the unlocked Moto G Power (Amazon deal $159.99 - $100 rebate where I paid for the $15 tracfone plan and $1 sim bundle), Tracfone Moto G Power (Amazon deal $54.75) and the Google Fi unlocked Moto G Power ($49 which needs 90 days service which equates to $75 but I got 2 refs for $40 and I traded in a 32GB iphone 6s for $257 which is an insane trade-in).... The Moto G Power is a better phone than the iPhone 6s straight up.

I gave 3 Moto G Power phones as gifts.... I also have a Moto G Stylus (paid total $118 at best buy... I posted the deal on slickdeal.).

My wife and I both have this phone and it is great. The large battery and wifi calling are a huge plus.

1500 MB of data per year? That is 125 MB a month and really a joke. 125 minutes of talk per month as well.
Doesn't your WiFi work?

I have WiFi at home, and because I have 30Mbps on TWC/Spectrum [for $14.99/month] I get city wide WiFi above ground in many places. I get free WiFi underground in the subway system.

At home I make all my phone calls for free using Google Voice.

If you are new to Tracfone don't forget to sign up for their rewards program and do the double dip trick for 16,000 points right away.

Unlocking with Tracfone is easy. You don't even need to call them! Go on website, enter your IMEI and instructions pop up
Could you be more specific about where on the website? The FAQ has 409 hits on "unlock phone" and all seem to be about unlocking the screen.

I feel the phone being laggy too. What Moto apps did you disable?

It's easy one year after you have activated the SIM and paid for the service for 13 months.

Can you explain what that is?
