Is this the really good, solid type you used to find on golf bags in the 1970's? If so, it's great and well worth $25 and more. They're super big too to cover more than one person. They had smaller diameter and shorter ones too. The big ones were great quality. Oh, this one is only 39". No, that's the length. The diameter is five feet.
Is the rod metal or fiberglass? Is it solid or hollow? I see they have bigger, more expensive ones to choose from. There used to be just one great one to get before they started making smaller, bad ones. They could take a beating IN the bag banged by clubs and on the side of the bag banged into other bags, the ground and your car trunk and they never failed. I suppose this isn't that umbrella.
