Is this brushless? I couldn't find any info on Makita's website. Does Makita make a brushless multi-tool?

I replaced my Porter Cable OMT (corded) with this after the PC one burnt out after 2 hours of runtime. This thing can eat batteries if you have dull blades, but it was night and day difference, and I was really impressed: great control, low vibration, much faster cutting.

One of my most used tools, but I would recommend buying blades on Amazon and switching them out often. This guy can get pretty warm too, I try to let it rest or run unloaded to cool the motor.

Hackable refers to the ethical grey area wherein an individual purchases a combination of items, with the intention of returning certain items in order to artificially reduce the price of the desired item.

For future reference, amazon is hackable as well. Have to wait until the tool is shipped to you. Then, either cancel or return the battery pack. Just returned mine today.
