This hit the front page at $20 last time. I'm guessing people are confusing it with the lower end model that looks similar and has been cheaper recently.
Yes I'm sure, there is some confusion as the dwara120 was know to be the metal internals and impact rated compared to the older bulky yellow or black models but now the yellow HD version states impact rated as well

And is this basically a poor man's powered ratchet wrench (albeit with a female hex and not male square anvil connector)?

This one is more stronger, impact ready. HD one is not.
Edited. They may be the same one. Just different color
Edited again, apologized for all the mixed information, just report the one I learned:
"The DWARA60 weighs about 5.29oz, the DWARA120 weighs about 6.67oz." May be this is due to a manufacturing variance, but also could be difference in mechanisms.

Probably the color and the max fit feature. Whatever that is.
But yeah this thing has gotten me out of a few jams. Always carry it in the truck.

Have you taken them apart to confirm? HD shows "impact rated" as well and they're identical, they used to sell bulkier one which wasn't but this is new model and I think dewalt did two different colors/models so it harder to price match. Unless there's a visual comparison of the inside parts showing the difference I wouldn't put it past them for that to be the main reason.
