This is an awesome grill. It's the lowest I've seen. The price is marked down to $599 and if you use the 15% off coupon readily available on the web. You can get it down to $509. And if you're lucky with an Amex card that gets you $50 off, that an go down further. This is one of my favorite grill at home right now. I picked one up over the summer for a little more than this.

It looks like a great grill and a great deal. I did notice that the cooking diameter is 18in. On my akorn (that i love), the diameter is 20in and I find myself thinking 22in or 24 would be just right on large brisket and multiple ribs.

False advertising .They are counting the two tier or cooking surface area to make it seem like it is bigger than the Kamado Big Joe while hiding the fact that the grill is only 18 inches.

This is a good Kamado style grill, however it does have some flaws. I left a review on the Home Depot site with my opinions which essentially revolve around the air leaks on the front insert. Kamado cooking is predicated on temperature control and that control is simply airflow. This grill misses the mark IMO. After some trial and error and a long learning curve I have figured out the sweet spots. I also got a better deal at $350 in store end of season clearance sale. Good luck.

Which store and when was the end of season clearance sale? I want a Kamado style grill, but I'm in no rush if I can save another $159.

I made my purchase in the fall of 2018 so that has been a couple of seasons ago. The grill is definitely high quality, well built and a substantial piece of smoke making apparatus. If you can find the right deal it's not a bad buy with a couple caveats in mind.
