That fee is nonsense. Every other company just explains that, due to COVID, it may take longer than usual for customers to receive their orders and I think most people understand and are used to that at this point. Their shipping fees (on items w/o free shipping) are already excessive to begin with.

I have no problem paying now, but it takes many hours/days to do a good calendar design, and I don't want to be rushed to complete the design today before the deal expires.

Add the promo code to your account either in checkout or under your profile and then settings. In my account it says the offer expires March 31, 2021.
Completely agree! I tolerated it for Xmas cards because it probably took some extra costs to get them all out on time but folks should at least be able to opt out
