anybody see the uh oh here? buy a plastic container to compost. put the organic waste into plastic bags and save the earth? huh? we have jars and containers all over the place. did many of us not replace food storage with glass and get rid of the plastic? why buy more plastic? if the container you have is ugly, put it somewhere hidden. doh Want to buy some swamp land in Florida?

Those look like compostable bags.
OXO products are usually quite high quality in my experience so I could see using this item for a long time.
I have some OXO mixing bowls that I've used for around a decade, and OXO utensils that are going on 6+ years.
I'm new to the world of composting, but what are you supposed to do with stuff once it's full?
Do I need a compost bin for outdoors too? I live in the city, so I can't just throw it in the garden. I would attract every rodent

Yes, you would need a compost pile outside, to do the actual composting.
