Anyone with experience with this soundbar?
Does this model hiss when it's powered on and but no content is playing?
How's the sound quality?
Looking to upgrade mine. Even though I love mine and it sounds great, it only has optical input. I really need the HDMI for the convenience of operating it with one remote.
This provides virtual Dolby Atmos. No upfiring speakers. Think of the Samsung sound bars that are 5.1 but there are no physical speakers outside of the bar.
Better than non-atmos, but worse then if it has upfiring speakers.

No, they won't be wireless. They will connect via an RCA cable from the back of the sub. Wireless in the sense that if you can tuck the sub away, say, behind a couch or something, you can hide the wires for the surrounds. They're powered by the subs amplifier.
someone needs to stop JBL on being the monopoly on TRUE wireless surround speakers with soundbars.
hate wires showing, and its perfect that their setup connects magnetically to recharge on the main bar when not in use. only need speakers back or side of you when watching a movie anyways.
still waiting for another brand to make wireless rechargeable rear surrounds like JBL's system.
Or JBL to bring it back down to $300-350 for their 5.1 system
