Costco.com will have the new Vizio M51a-H6 36" 5.1 Channel Home Theater Sound System with Rear Speakers & Wireless Subwoofer on sale for $199 starting 1/17.
Anyone with experience with this soundbar?
Does this model hiss when it's powered on and but no content is playing?
How's the sound quality?
Looking to upgrade mine. Even though I love mine and it sounds great, it only has optical input. I really need the HDMI for the convenience of operating it with one remote.
This provides virtual Dolby Atmos. No upfiring speakers. Think of the Samsung sound bars that are 5.1 but there are no physical speakers outside of the bar.
Better than non-atmos, but worse then if it has upfiring speakers.

No, they won't be wireless. They will connect via an RCA cable from the back of the sub. Wireless in the sense that if you can tuck the sub away, say, behind a couch or something, you can hide the wires for the surrounds. They're powered by the subs amplifier.

Going to pickup this one next week and see how it goes.
It originally had an msrp of $249. But has regularly been on sale for $199 since launch. Black Friday it went down to $149
