I currently use this exact brand and have been happy with taste/results. The tin is nice because it has a section where you can scrape your teaspoon to ensure you always get a level teaspoon of matcha. I've tried it both in a latte with almond milk, davinci sugar free vanilla syrup, cinnamon and some real vanilla extract as well as just adding a teaspoon to protein powder and water to give my protein drink a boost.

A while back I posted a very similar deal that was the same brand but came in a bag instead of this tin so if you liked that you'll like this one....and vice versa.

I combine this brand with ground cane sugar to make matcha lattes. They've proven a hit.

Funny how they're bragging about it coming from China not Japan.

Technically, matcha originated in China, however Japanese mastered the growing process and there are significant differences between Chinese and Japanese matcha.
Plus quality control in China is of different type...

I've tried this, it's mediocre at best. Also it's not authentic Japanese matcha. Get matcha from Japan, if you care about higher concentrations of antioxidants, and flavor.

But then you'll get Japanese radiation according to the comparison picture on Amazon! Wink

Literally LOL. I didn't until you pointed it out. Now I can't get it out of my head.

So this is not real matcha ?

Is Parmesan cheese made in the usa still parmesan cheese? It's trademarked to europe. Same difference. Overclorinated (O)verchrloryfilled? Stick Out Tongue ) Ground up green tea leaves are still green tea leaves no matter where they grow. "True" matcha is a marketing gimmick unless you are buying "ceremonial grade" which you don't waste on latte's and protein shakes.

Do you believe the Japanese use ancient Samurai secrets to add in these "higher concentration of antioxidants"?

From https://time.com/5188377/matcha-tea-benefits/

Matcha leaves are grown on green tea bushes kept under shade. The shade increases the amount of chlorophyll content in the leaves, which is what makes them bright green and full of nutrients.

I'd weigh that more if it wasn't a site that SELLS japanese matcha telling you all the reasons why "japanese matcha is better". For one thing...green tea leaves don't get that color unless they ARE grown in the shade.
