I was looking at weighted blankets just now, but the biggest weighted blankets they have at Kohls at 60x80, which is smaller than most twin size comforters. No idea if I would like or hate a weighted blanket anyways, but interested to try one someday.

I purchased a weighted blanket (12lbs) for my mother for Christmas. She really likes it. What is great about the one I got her, is that it has a removeable cover that you can wash. Weighted blankets do seem to not be sized the same way as regular bed linens.
The blanket I got my mom was from Macy's and I got tipped off to a one day sale here at SlickDeals and I believe it was around $54. It was a great price, so I jumped on it. Also good that I have Macys near me, so if I needed to return, it wouldn't be difficult.
