Hulu has launched a $1.99 per month deal for college students (regularly $5.99/month). College enrollment is verified through SheerID. Many college students already subscribe to the Spotify Premium/ Hulu/ Showtime bundle through Spotify for $4.99 a month, but this plan is now being offered for those only interested in the Hulu service.

Believe it or not people can do both, and more, successfully. Shocker I know!
you must be from a previous generation...
"both" ain't a thing anymore
p.s.
on the deal... my god the Ads are bad on Hulu, so many and so so bad. this is a great deal for students, i'm not knocking that, but i am knocking the sheer quantity of Ads. I cancelled cable years back and had setup SlingTV for my wife to continue watching her TV shows, she grew out of all the silly network TV stuff and asked me to setup Disney+/Hulu/ESPN deal. So I set that up through Disney bundle and turned on Hulu, after watching a single show i cancelled the bundle and setup Disney+ and Hulu (no Ads) separately... the Ads were that bad, one more damn Chanel perfume commercial and I was going to lose it

If you watch on google chrome with Adblock on, it will auto skip the ads during the viewing. Although, I think it still shows at least one ad (in the beginning of your show). I sometimes watch on streaming devices/smart TV and I understand your frustration—the ads are repetitive and annoying after some time.

College isn't easy, and those students need a break from time to time just like all of us who constantly get burnt out from hard work.
