I googled it but didn't get a straight answer, why is dual fuel better?

Propane canisters can be stored for much, much longer than gas and doesn't require you to clear out the carb after each use.

If a choice is natural gas (like it is with the ones sold at Costco), you effectively have almost all of the benefits of a standby generator minus the size and...the standby part (lol). But it will cost you a fraction and probably not require permitting for the big concrete slab.
