Not sure if it's like a dyson, but with my v10 I never need to use the max mode. Maybe once every few months for like 30 seconds or less.

I have a V6 Absolute. Use the max mode a lot since I have pets. I probably get 10-15 minutes out of that. 8 minutes just seems too little. Need to find something with a longer runtime and bigger canister. Looks like this isn't it.

Get a dyson if you are spending this much. I have one of these knockoffs and they suck.

Even the Dyson V10 Absolute has these specs on High.

The run time on High power is 7 minutes with the Motorised head, and 5 minutes without the Motorised head.

there's no way you get a continuous 10-15 minutes on max, V10 doesn't even get that... in fact, V10 gets half of that.

not saying this knockoff is good, because i'm sure it isn't. just saying i know my V8 Absolute doesn't last that long and Dyson's own specs on High for the V10 are 5-7 minutes.

This on Max Mode has lower AW (120) than the V10 on Normal Mode (135). On Max Mode the V10 hits around 155 AW. So what this can do in 8 minutes, the V10 can do for 40 minutes with more power.

I use my V6 daily and keep it on max mode for picking up pet hair and probably get it in the 10-15 minutes range. However, I'm not continuously holding down the trigger. Also, the V6 runs at lower AW, so it's not likely drawing as much power. Of course the other models are going to clean better.

I don't recommend people who don't know what they're doing do this, but I replaced all of the cells inside my Dyson V6 with Sony VTC6 18650s and get probably around 12 minutes on MAX now.

Sounds like a good idea. I use my V6 nearly every day and barely enough juice to finish. Need a bigger canister too. Besides that, fantastic vacuum. Smilie

What's the wattage?

To me there are only two companies to choose from...
VALUE... TINECO
PREMIUM... DYSON

Realize that the best Tineco (599 - 699) beat out the best Dyson.

There were deals on the Tineco A11 MASTER for about $299ish, if you find on sale... I think it is worth the additional cost.
