I bought this rack about a month ago for $275. Wish I could get the price adjustment. Overall I am happy with this unit. Bench 225/squat 225 without feeling any safety concerns. I wouldn't trust anything more then 300. Also it's a pretty lightweight unit. I slide it around to fit the cars in the garage. Also add resistance bands to the pull-up bar. The unit does need to be weighted down with plates on the stems otherwise it tips over when using bands to pull one way or the other. I weigh 200 lbs/6 foot and pull-up bar is solid. I have it at the highest setting and can still touch the floor on my tip toes. Easy assembly. Would recommend the buy if u are looking for cheap, compact, easy to move around.

I'm shocked at the 800+ lb weight rating. A lot of these racks only claim 300 lbs or so, and they look far sturdier. I know looks can be deceiving but still...

Thank OP! I've had this one in my cart for a while now but wasn't ready to make room for it. My space is limited but this one has a smaller footprint.

Considering it was $70 higher last week, now's a good time to buy.

This doesn't look like a true fitness cage.

It's not. It's just a rack.

I got this before quarantine and it's been good for us. My wife picked it specifically because it can fit in our garage (in front of the car). I can't give much feedback on its limits since I mostly bench with it or use the pull up bar while my wife uses it for squats at a much lower weight.

Maybe the 800 'static' rating is the gimmick - the loaded bar is not static. Especially if dropped to the safety arms.

Does anyone know if there is a good rack that also has a pulley system?

Not looking to add more than the 3 45lb plates to the olympic 45lb bar. Is this fine for now or is there better or safer ones for the price
