Decent deal. The 880-b with the ergo stand was $100 more from costco - which I think was worth it. But if you don't want the stand, this is a pretty good monitor. Quite accurate when calibrated.

costco current price is $650 and lowest price in slickdeals was $597. Give me a link and I will buy 880-b and return this.

In before the obligatory "...but it doesn't have 2 nanosecond response time and 1064 gigahertz refresh rate terrible deal" comments.

Edit: very tempted to get one and replace my already tremendous LG 27" 4K panel. Anyone have this and use for all-purpose work (presentations, spreadsheets, occasional photo & video editing, and casual gaming)?

Costco has it in stock at only $50 difference. If you have Costco Citi Visa, pay with it to get two additional years of warranty. LG only has one year vs Dell with their generous three years. You can always file for price protection once Amazon has it back in stock and at the $597 price again. I didn't bother though as it's not worth the hassle.

Yeah you definitely need the 3 year warranty at least since been reading lotta reviews where these displays end up with red around edges after only a few years!
Got me thinking of saving up to get an NEC or Eizo display instead since they come with at least 4 year warranty standard!

LG switched to a non-LG sourced panel with this model - exactly because of this issue. I wouldn't worry about it for this model.

Would this not being curved at this size be an issue?

Actually found a way to sweeten the deal, some employee's might have access to lgpartnersmall and there its $400 plus tax which comes out to $443 (downside is there's no returns), or if you're a best buy rewards member and have a 10% off birthday voucher you can price match the monitor with amazon and then add that voucher on top which total out to $438 and you have the benefit of being able to return it. You aren't technically allowed to use the price match and birthday voucher together, but I was talking to the price match team on the phone and they were able to apply the coupon anyway so its ymmv. Give it a try though it worked for me just 5 minutes ago! Picked it up for $438 with tax and get it this week!

Thanks OP! Looking for a 32" IPS 4k monitor that's reasonably priced for mainly office work + some amateur photo editing (no-gaming). This was on the short list after way too much research. Might check it out tomorrow at Microcenter before pulling the trigger.
