Nah. They're looking at people buying $8 grilled cheese and $10 bowl of soup. The coffee is a loss leader.

YMMV. The one on my way to work is ok. Theres a new location a little further away and its great. I get the hazelnut blend- Black. I still just go to the one on the way to work mostly since its easy and I cant complain because its free Smilie I just keep making new accounts. Had free Coffee since June now.

Most that read this thread should understand that the people shitting on 4 months of free coffee and tea are more than likely the snobs that pay $7 a cup at Starbucks but complain about the $2 per gallon gas price.

PS. I have no affiliation with Panera.

I think this post needs more info:

MyPanera+ subscribers who swap their payment method to Apple Pay are eligible to get a free cookie. The MyPanera+ program offers unlimited premium coffee (up to every two hours) in any size. Hot tea and iced coffee are included, as are unlimited refills, but espresso, iced cold brew coffee, iced tea, and cappuccino are excluded.

PS That's a lot of freakin coffee/tea! I mean this is a good deal even if the coffee sucks!

You can place a new drink order every 2 hours. So if you want to switch from coffee to tea, or hot coffee to iced coffee, that would require 2 hours between orders for the promo to apply.

If you dine in, you can simply refill your coffee at the self-serve coffee station. But once you leave the location, technically you're not supposed to refill since it's not the "same visit". You can't come back with your morning cup to get your 2:00 refill -- that would require a new order.

NOTE: With COVID, many locations ask you NOT to refill the same mug, so your experience might vary by location.
