G = Graphics
E = Low Energy or Energy Efficient - 35W normal draw

This processor is a beast on benchmark.

Those thinking like me, "can i add an external GPU down the road?" Nope. This chassis does not have Thunderbolt. Although Lenovo support is funny. Someone asked that same question on their website and they just said "read the specs" -- super help!

For gaming PC, you need a PC with dedicated graphics card. This is good for casual gaming or old titles. The Integrated Graphics on this is more or less equivalent to a Nvidia MX250 Graphics card.

The G likely means that it has integrated graphics (not all processors do), and I'm further guessing that the E likely stands for embedded, as in soldered in and not upgradeable.

Comparable in function to the Vanilla Intel NUC. Slightly bigger and faster. (Excluding the super high end discrete capable NUC version)

The Ryzen cpu in Lenovo benchmarks around 30% faster than the core i5, has less RAM, and is a bigger chassis.

Thanks OP. Was able to get one for $538 after coupon, ID.me discount, and Ca$hbk site. Solid deal.

I am hoping to use this computer for basic internet needs and music editing with Adobe Premiere. Does the bigger/smaller chassis matter?

Just echoing that the graphics on this are not powerful enough for modern games. I have a slightly earlier generation of this computer and am happy with it, but was a little surprised that "the best" integrated VEGA graphics are still pretty weak.
