McDonalds is offering Throwback Thursday Deals via McDonalds App (Android or iOS) with $1 minimum purchase each Thursday through February 18, 2021.

  • Deal for Thursday, February 18, 2021: Cheeseburger for $0.25 (minimum $1 purchase required)
Note, limit 1 per customer.

Deal Instructions:
  1. Open McDonald's App (Android or iOS)
  2. Offer will be at Top of App, "Rewind to $.25 Cheeseburger"
  3. Select "Get Deal"
  4. On "Deals" page, open offer and Select "Add to Mobile Order" or "Use at Restaurant" (steps below for Mobile Orders)
  5. Select "Use Deal" when you are ready
  6. Confirm Details and Add to Order
  7. Add another item of at least $1 to your order
  8. Select Choose Payment Option to proceed with checkout
  9. Select Place Order

This sort of reminds me of 29 cent hamburgers and 39 cent cheeseburgers on Tuesdays and Thursdays back in the 90's. Good times.

In NYC, the app gives you a daily deal of free pie with $1 purchase. You don't even need to pay 20 cents.

These aren't even apple pies anymore. They are just apple fritters with more crust than apples like the old recipe. It is disgusting now and probably changed to save money.

If this was a true Throwback deal they should be offering the original deep fried apple pies that would always burn away your mouth no matter how long you waited! Maybe make people sign a waiver but everyone needs to have experienced it! IMHO

If you go to Hawaii you can. McDonalds Hawaii is the only one that still deep fries their pies.
