This sort of reminds me of 29 cent hamburgers and 39 cent cheeseburgers on Tuesdays and Thursdays back in the 90's. Good times.

I wish today was Sunday, so I could get a cheeseburger for... 39 cents, at McDonald's baby!

Hmmm, so locally 15¢ for a small or 0¢ everyday for a medium?

Had the apple pie today and it wasn't good at all. Worth $.20...maybe, but I won't be ordering it at full price.

Barely any apple and the outside of the pie was dry and tasteless.

Yeah they changed the recipe to get rid of most of the apples and now call them fritters. They are more like apple flavored crust than real pies anymore. McDonald's really cheapened out on what use to be a decent product to keep the retail price the same.

Baked? The last time I ate an apple pie at McD's was when I was 8 and it was fried.

If this was a true Throwback deal they should be offering the original deep fried apple pies that would always burn away your mouth no matter how long you waited! Maybe make people sign a waiver but everyone needs to have experienced it! IMHO
Good times!

Remember when you had to put your own BBQ sauce on the McRib...and they only gave you a tiny little ketchup-sized packet.

But at least they were packaged in environmentally friendly styrofoam!

Yes, and no limit back then!
Had a 20 count limit. My buddy and I would buy the limit and hand what we were not going to eat to the homeless or anyone who might not have been able to eat McDonald's that day but wanted to. Everything is bean counted to death now.

If it was really throwback, the pies would be fried

I think they realized people would be more unhappy with the price change, so they took less apples out to hold the price.
