what network drive do you have that shows up in native samsung file navigator?
You can setup FTP, SFTP, or SMB in the "Network storage" option of the My Files navigator (the option is below Google Drive in the app). You just click the "+" icon to setup. I used the Network drive (SMB) option but the process was the same for my TrueNAS and desktop PC. It will automatically search for any drives on the network, but I had to config manually due to my NAS being password protected. I did have to update the app in the Galaxy Store for some reason, not sure if it is a new option or what, but either way it works great. It took less than 5 mins to setup and very easy to transfer files back and forth.

To all future S21 series owners, please be careful when you try to eject the SIM card tray from your smartphones, do not poke the wrong hole at the bottom and damage the mic on your smartphones. Both holes are too close for comfort.
Attachment 9793444
poking at the microphone hole will not do any damage to it. The hole designed as L-shaped so any foreign objects will not be in contact with the microphone.

Your missing new Samsung account first order discount. If your using Gmail just create a new account and add a dot . anywhere in the email, example: [email protected] would be [email protected]. it would still process it as your normal email address and you get 5% discount. Also if you go back from your shopping cart to the main page and select Carrier upgrade instead of unlocked, then go back to the cart, hour promos will still be intact plus an additional $100 credit. Essentially making your purchase almost free. Good luck
Is there a way to get the $100 discount without having to go through Finance with Company?

You are right but I just want to point out, the moves Samsung is taking is very anti consumer. You can fairly justify why Samsung is doing it -and you would be largely correct but make no mistake all these moves take power away from consumers and forces us to buy more phones, more frequently. It's planned obsolescence on hyperdrive.

Removing portable batteries, headphone jack,
SD cards. I remember when you could easily replace the digitizer for 20 bucks. These were all once very standard of android phones. Not anymore. Samsung could have easily added SD card slots. However, they decided not to because forcing consumers to buy the 512GB version is way more profitable.

I get it, companies are not charities, decisions are all money driven but Samsung had a choice to be different than Apple. Instead, they mocked them but ended up doing the EXACT same thing a generation later. At least Apple knows who they are. Samsung is trying to become the Android version of Apple.
I don't think they're trying to become the the android version of Apple; They pretty much are the Android version of Apple. They're considered the best, and/or mainstream android device. People can complain all they want but it doesn't mean the Companies will do anything about it. Majority of the changes are money-driven, but it's also to push towards the future and cloud storages.

Finally ordered the S21 with S8 trade-in with Buds Pro costing me an additional $12. I almost regretted the decision for not grabbing the 256GB version but i don't even used half of my 64GB on my S8. Besides if I were to jumped on this deal when it first launched I would have missed out on the R10÷PAW trick. Got the R10 10% purchase price before tax cash back within 2 hours of ordering so the check will be on its way soon. For those who were wondering about the WOW points, my account shows 0 star status but when I access the purchase history, it tells you the date and the sites you visited. The details sections showed I'm 5 star status and it is currently waiting for merchant verification. Will take up to 21 days for the funding to go through so we shall see if I end up with 0, 20X or even 30X WOWPoints, fingers crossed 🤞! I hope I get to triple dip since my CC also gives me 4.5% cash back.

Samsung needs to stop messing around with their formula for success. MicroSD slot, MST payment, heartrate/O2 sensor, amazing display/resolutions, are all examples of amazing differentiated benefits that no other company had, but now these guys keep giving us less, year after year. I don't see the point here. Why would I go to Samsung now instead of say a Pixel or even an iPhone. Samsung quite literally has nothing exciting to offer except for updated cameras in a pretty form factor.

I will hold off buying anything Samsung as a matter of principle, cause they are somehow compelled to justify the removal of key features which make them attractive in the first place. I mean you'd be surprised how many times I used my O2 sensor during this Pandemic - it's a feature no other phone has, but mine does, and even that was removed on S20. Just terrible all around. Sorry Samsung, your premium products aren't worth it anymore.
They are going to position the Galaxy S series as the more affordable brand and keep Note as the premium brand. At the end of the day, this is a crazy good deal. Buy a s10e from eBay for $300, trade it in and you are basically getting a new phone for around $500. You can use the $100 accessory credit to buy one of the newer headphones and flip it and probably get back at least $75. So $475 for the specs of S21 is pretty damn good. You can pay extra $50 for the 256 GB version even.

That is the dumbest thing I've heard. The consumer will always be king and they do decide with their wallet, just as I am doing. So you can go ahead and rationalize their limited product offerings while claiming less is more. and shelling out hundreds. I'll take my business elsewhere. I have no problems with people being sheep, it makes me confident I can sell crap to people and they will happily buy it - the power of consumerism, based on your feedback is truly in the hands of large corps that make people like you feel they're getting a deal. LOL!
Oh noes, he's not going to buy it. Samsung so going to go out of business guys because this guy can mind control the earth population to not buy the new Samsung. You are entitled not to like the phone but calling other people sheep?
Dude. Get off your farkING high horse for fark sake. You are buying a phone, not a house with a 30 years mortgage.

No, but if you go with finance, just pay it off after the 1st or 2nd billing cycle. I don't believe the promos are carrier based so no impact to credits with early payoff. I have done this in the past not sure if anything changed.

The main thing I don't like about the note series is that they release later in the year and by that time the soc or snapdragon chip has almost been a year old and the new one is only a few months away.

We can debate MST or SD slot. . .I'm in favor of the latter still being included. . .but at least provide a 25w charger brick. . .I don't have one from former phones. And at least include a 45w brick for those forking up for the Ultra, as most all of those people don't have one from their former phones.. . .otherwise don't spend the money on the phone production for 45w fast charging capabilities vs. reducing price further.

I had to shut down the unpackaging video once they said that they weren't including charging bricks. . .to save the environment. . .rather than the truth of cutting costs. . .or the fact that the phones themselves being so short lived are the bigger problem.

I get all the other online pay politics, or pushing for higher storage purchases. . .but my goodness I have to buy a brick to charge my phone rated at 25w or 45w?????
