If your interested in selling the s7 cheap instead of going through return I'd be interested.

DO u buy mint or good condition?
Neither, the cheapest. As long as there aren't cracks it will get accepted. I haven't had issues in the last five years doing trade ins every 6 or 12 months. The horror stories are greatly exaggerated in my opinion

Okay, so I'm trying to understand this. I'm on ATT, have been for 25+ years, also have ATT Fiber.
I don't want to do an installment plan, so do I just have to buy the unlocked phone? I realize it's $100 more than the installment, but I just don't want the installment plan. I also have a S9 to trade in, but it's not on my ATT plan, does that matter? Looks like the price is $699 with the unlocked.

I'm hearing people talking about getting another $50 or $60 somehow, and then another $150 credit for more accessories? Is that after the completion of the phone purchase?
I know you said you don't want to installment plan but with at&t installment an S21 would be free vs samsung.com you only get $350 trade in so $450 (unless you do epp discount for another $22.50 off and Perks at Work). If you bought out the installment plan the break even price is > 13 months so add long as you keep the phone one your plan for 13 months then you're better off with at&t installments, add another month or 2 if you get the other discounts.

And from my understanding the $100 credit and SmartTag is for any pre-order, not only Samsung.com so at&t installments through att.com should qualify.

(Unless your planning on not keeping the phone and only doing for selling it? Then ignore everything I said.)

Others can correct me if my assessment above is wrong but that is how I see it.

Refute the message, do they sell your identifiable data according to the TOS or not? Attacking the messenger doesn't refute facts. You can choose not to use those apps, you can't choose not to use the phone you're using.

Google uses your information to sell you ads, Samsung literally sell your identifiable information to unknow third parties and the moment you buy the phone you accept the terms, you can only partially opt-out in their webpage, not in the phone. Those are two different things.

Yes, and +90% of the people will never opt out. Samsung is selling people's identifiable information to third parties, not simply using it for ads purposes. Funny people horrified by Facebook data collection in exchange of a free service, but they're okay with Samsung data selling in exchange for a $800-$1300 phone...

It literally takes 1-2 minutes, you should work on your reading speed.
Lol. I don't use the baked in samsung phone or messaging app. I use the Google ones. I disable all personalized ad tracker crap. Anyone in 2021 that does not check privacy settings in a device upon setup uses all those crap play store apps and games that mine your data. It is what it is. You either are proactive in your privacy or your not. Those are the people that share all their ah!t on Fakeboook. Please don't tell me that you are naive enough to think that every phone maker and operating system doesn't mine data.?

If he/she return the phone, he/she only got the refund for the phone price minus $250. Then how can he/she sell the tablet cheap for you? Do you mean to sell the phone?

If I return the phone but keep the accessories, will I be charged full price for the accessories?
If you return the phone, the accessories price will not change but the refund for the phone will be take out the amount of credit.
I'm 100% sure because I did it in the last A71 phone deal.

Not worth the "upgrade" even with trade in discount. I have an S20 and found the S20 FE to be the perfect phone having came from the S10 plus variant. Lesson I learned from Samsung, wait for your two major launches (S and Note line) to suck to allow an FE variant or similar to be released. I don't mind the lost I'm charger and headphone (I think most have plenty of these) but the lack of SD card was a mistake on their part. Personally, itd want the SD slot restored, flat screen (1080 is fine) , current SoC, and a good amount of ram and a viable refresh. Hopong the competition sees this as a way to capitalize

Well, that's what I meant. You end up paying full price for accessories either way.

So I ordered the s21 ultra and tab s7+. The tablet just shipped. Does anyone know if the 10% off cancellation would work on this? I clicked on cancel where you select reason and I'm too nervous to go any further because I don't want to actually cancel the order and owe full price of the tablet that shipped. I just want to see if there is a 10% option which live chat told me there would be once I select a reason why I wanted to cancel. I'm just not sure if I should wait until the phone ships as well or if I can select the reason and see if I get the option before I actually cancel it. I ordered the brown 256gb so it said 4-5 weeks for shipping time which is a long wait.
Wanted to apply the credit to get the S7+ as well, but only the 128gb was offered. I wanted the 256gb.

Thinking of trading in my hardly used S6 for thee S7+. Will the credits apply to a tablet given the 128gb S7+ was an option when checking out for the S21 pre-order?

That has typically been the case. Samsung values their lowest end S series the same as the most expensive ones for trade in. I bought an S21U knowing this, but its the only semi-upgrade from my S20. Might be more beneficial for you to sell the device used, and buy a cheaper trade in model thats valued the same, instead of trading in a top of the line device.
Me too, I got the S21U 512gb knowing that in a few years it will have the same trade-in value as the lowest end S21. Sucks Samsung does that so I might sell mine when the time comes and buy a low end to trade.

PSA: trade-in value for T-Mobile on Samsung website just increased to $800 for S20 series and iPhone 12 series (instead of $700)
