Has anyone noticed, how much percentage is referral discount and does it apply to accessories or only to the phone? My transaction got messed up when credit card was declined in first attempt.

Got another Samsung email that mentioned an "enhanced" trade-in credit. They didn't say what that was, and also at the bottom of the email, they said that the additional $10 credit is if you pre-order the phone through the Shop Samsung app.

And that is when I saw the the T-mobile version of the base S21 goes down to $0.00 if I trade in my Note 20 (base version). So the "enhanced trade-in" is giving you $100 more for trading my Note 20. And then doubling the storage space top 256GB bumps it up to $47.49 (with that Samsung Education Discount that you can choose). The only color is Phantom Gray, which is fine.

And they gave me $160 in credit, and so I figured I'd get the new Galaxy Buds Pro for $161.99, since its off by $38. If I were to buy it separately, I could still trade in any wired headphones for $30, but that would be off the full $199.99 price. So this is actually cheaper. And why not get the headphones now, its not like there's going to be some amazing Samsung accessory deal on their store 60 to 90 days from now that already isn't there. Also those credits come with restrictions, like you can't use them to buy certain computer hardware components like SSDs, only laptops, TV, computer monitors, tablets, or phone accessories if I am remembering correctly.

So, base Galaxy S21 5G, upgraded to 256GB storage, $47.49. And Galaxy Buds Pro, $1.99 after credit has been applied. Used 41 cents in Samsung points I had. Taxes was only $4.45.

Total is $53.52

Shouldn't have to worry about storage. My Note 20 ultimately cost me about $580 last August. This is, at worst, a sideways move, I lose about 0.6 inches of display, but my Note 8 was 6.3" so this 6.2" display should be okay, and fit better in my hand while I'm browsing.

And this should ensure that I will get the max allowable trade-in value should I ever want to get a phone from Samsung well into the second half of 2022. There's rumors that they're working with AMD with getting a powerful GPU into a future Galaxy S phone. And, I want them to fulfill their under-screen camera promise, which they still haven't done yet.

Ahhh I just can't decide between the S21 and S21 Ultra! I prefer the flat screen of the S21 but have heard here the curved screen on the Ultra's curve is mild and cases should rise above the edge which is what I want- and seem to be confirmed by cases on Amazon.

I've just never used a phone so big before and feel i'll lose all ability to use it with one hand and that it might fall out of my pocket or something while sitting down in the truck or at a restaurant or anywhere really sitting down. And it's just that much more size in my pockets when going for a run.

But bigger screen for reading, better cameras so I get better pictures of ours kids and family, better battery life, etc are also compelling for me. I just can't decide!!!

Your missing new Samsung account first order discount. If your using Gmail just create a new account and add a dot . anywhere in the email, example: [email protected] would be [email protected]. it would still process it as your normal email address and you get 5% discount. Also if you go back from your shopping cart to the main page and select Carrier upgrade instead of unlocked, then go back to the cart, hour promos will still be intact plus an additional $100 credit. Essentially making your purchase almost free. Good luck

Haven't done this yet on this phone but based on past experience you just login to your account and go to orders and attempt to cancel from there. Samsung will ask that you keep the order and they'll give you 10% refund (usually after the phone is shipped).

Carrier upgrades get an additional $100 off promotion however your not able to use normal promo codes since the promo codes entry field will not be visible. Promo codes entry field will only be visible with unlocked version. To get around this, you select Carrier upgrade and process everything until you get to your cart. Then leave the cart and go back to that cart again. Now the promo codes field will be visible for you to enter additional promo codes essentially stacking them on top of the carrier $100 off

Looks like the T-Mobile model is reduced back to $100!
Was it $100 instant discount or $699 MSRP?

So because Samsung didn't include an SD card reader, you wanna switch to a brand just as expensive and has never delivered (Sony Xperia), a brand that also does not have an SD slot anymore (OnePlus) or a brand that seems to have abandoned flagship devices to make overpriced midrange devices (LG), none of which will give you good trade-in value for your current device nor will any of which device give good trade-in value for the future... a perfectly logical decision.
I am not telling you to drop Samsung if you like what they do (i.e. remove microSD, remove charger, lower display resolution, etc). You probably like the iPhone too...
We all have our priorities and just because you don't like any other brands besides Samsung, does not mean I should follow you.
I am just making a stand against being squeezed out and I am glad there are other brands :-)

Cloud storage is the future; You're not losing anything; Also a sdcard can fail and you can lose all your files and pictures as well. Nothing is full-proof.
Just because something might fail, does not mean you should not use, including a cellphone itself.
You are correct, there is nothing full-prof, but there is always an option of having backups... Right?
