Got the Ultra and S7+ but forgot the MoGa...dammit

I'm using the insights discount so I don't want to risk reordering
You have to add the MOga manually ? I thought it came with the S7

So I currently have an S20 but am interested in taking advantage of the promotions to upgrade to an S21U. I can do without the microSD slot and rarely ever use Samsung Pay (MFT). I'm trying to see how cheap I could get the upgrade, can anyone let me know if I am missing anything here:

S21U (ATT 128GB) = $399.99 (after trade-in)
Tab S7 (128 GB) = $134.99 (after $250 pre-order credit)
Sub-total = $534.98
Total After Tax = $644.67 (stupid CA taxes)

The Tab S7 could possibly resell for $400+. Likewise, there is 10% CB through a site floating around. So, after those considerations, possibly seeing out the door upgrade cost being $176. Any other potential discounts I should look into?

I come from a S20 FE so for me a S21 is an upgrade in almost every way. For you? I think you should hold on to that phone until the S22. Your S20 will still hold a pretty good trade in value (if history is any indication, Samsung will offer you 550-600 next year for it) and tbh the Ultra will be a small upgrade even if you dont care about the SD card and the MFT features.

My two cents is that if you are coming from a S10, this would be a good upgrade for the trade in. S20? Keep it for another year.

I will say the trade in promotion is pretty enticing. If my cash back holds and my 50 dollar cancellation credit is honored, I will get the S21 + Active 2 watch for 135 dollars (260-25 rk -50 PAW - 50 cancellation credit).

That's hard to beat.

If anyone is interested in the regular S21, you can get it for free. The Tmobile version 128GB. I ordered S21 Ultra 128GB and trading my S20; but now thinking of cancelling that. After all I can save $300+.
Considering Samsung's trade in prices; who knows they might same value when Note 21 or S22 comes out? Then I will be cursing myself for spending extra $300+.
S21 to regular S20, how bad it can be? I don't care for plastic back and I am actually using S20 in 1080 to get highest refresh rate.

Question for Sprint/T-Mobile users:

I have a Sprint line that has an S20+ phone lease through Sprint. Last month I converted it to the TNX T-Mobile experience by going to the store and getting a T-Mobile Sim card. When the phone rebooted, it had the T-Mobile logo and bootup info, so the phone appears to be running T-Mobile software now. Can I take the S21 Ultra T-Mobile I just bought here and put my S20+ Sim card in there and the phone should work, since it is using T-Mobile currently?
Sure the new phone will work, but your trade in will get denied, because its a leased phone.

With the trade-in on T-Mobile S21 (regular, 128gb)... Since the invoice is $0, it's probably not worth using cash back huh? I went through Shop Samsung app to get the extra $10 accessories credit instead of going through cash back...
Did you trade in S20 for a S21 regular Tmobile for $0?

Shocking now that review embargo has been lifted for S21, I've been going through as many S21 video reviews as possible. one particular article is concerning regarding S21's battery life versus S20 and other phones, as in it's worse than last year's S20 by quite a margin. if true, this main drawback would be a dealbreaker for me to cancel my pre-order and wait some more.

https://www.phonearena.com/news/s...t_id129595

Dave Lee's review mentions he get about 6.5 -7hr SOT with mix use between charge for the regular S21 and if that's true, it's quite a bit longer than my current S10e. I assume he's quoting based on leaving adaptive refresh enabled.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-XHPGGE8-Uo

Based on the above article it looks like the fault lies with Samsung not using a higher capacity battery, maybe 4500-5000mah to compensate for the hotter running Snapdragon 888 chipset.

Maybe Samsung will come up with a battery saving software solution but that may cause other issues.

So, it seems that Samsung knows about this problem and it is trying to dump the S21 phones on the market BEFORE these issues spread far and wide with upcoming bad reviews.

And that looks like the reason for these deep "pre-release" discounts offered by Samsung here.

If this issue remains, the S21's resale value later on will get a big hit.

Maybe time to cancel all these "pre-release orders" now???

Will the CB work if we have perks at work discount enabled through the perks link? I thought it is one or the other. I see a 30X credit (almost 30% off credit) in my Perks at work and do not want to miss it.

I have my doubt but trying to dig through more reviews to see if others have mentioned battery life issue and so far I've not found another one to mention it.
