What about the T-mobile variant or getting it on the Sprint site?
I got the Tmo variant. I am already on Tmo so doesnt matter to me, but based on the A71 thread, it is possible to get it unlocked. You will be stuck with Tmo bloat though, which is A LOT. There are ways to flash unlocked FW as well but its a bit tricky.

Those confused about the screen protector, I have been using amFilm with my Note20U and it has been great for me. No issues with the FP reader and looks pretty clean. They also have lifetime warranty. Ordered one for S21U as well, there is a clippable coupon here:

If you want to get a tempered glass one, checkout the thread posted a few days back. You can get that for $20. I dont want to get in on the mess of using glue which attracts dust in the long term and prefer using film based protectors.

Since there is a conversation about screen protectors, I've gone through a lot of them, but LK on Amazon are the BEST hands down. Once you learn how to install these you'll never go back. Just put one on my wife's new S21+, she asked me about an hour later when i was going to put the screen protector on! Even when i told her it was on she didn't believe me.

They cancelled my order due to promotion error.
Guess they let some through. I did order within a few minutes of hunhun posting the link for the free LK screen protectors. Placed 2 orders of 1 each and they managed to ship them together lol.

Explain please. I got those for my S21 and it didn't work. Mine has 1 side with a tab that peels off, that's all. Did you have to increase touch sensitivity? I'm going to give it another try now, I guess.

I just put the botched one back on and increased touch sensitivity and I definitely have to push harder to get it to register, even after I re-recorded one of the fingerprints. Far from acceptable. Maybe because I took it off and put it back on, but it seems to have sealed ok the 2nd time.
So ideally that protector is supposed to have one full sticky sheet on the top which you peel off at very end, then it should have two sticky flaps half length each on the other side that sticks to your phone and it should have one more sticky cover that goes between your phone's screen and the half sticky flaps. This did not have the full length sticky flap that goes between your phone's screen and the two halves of sticky flaps.

So, I botched first protector because I put my fingers on the sticky side not expecting it to have the missing wrap.

The best way to put it on is first clean your phone's screen then align the protector with selfie camera then fold it in half and hope dust specks stay away then use squeegee to push from the center to the top so first half of the protector is glued. Make sure no bubbles from the start or else it can be a mess. Then do the same with squeegee on bottom half. Lastly remove the top cover so you only have the screen protector on the phone.

Hope that was not confusing lol

FYI I just requested the unlock to T-Mobile (facebook). They told me that they need to send a request to Samsung to get the device into their database. Bottom line, it will take from 3 days to 3 weeks to complete the process (according to the rep usually it takes 3 days but as this is a new device It can take up to 3 weeks).

Fyi2 it works with mint flawless.

And the fingerprint reader works just fine? Did you have to turn on touch sensitivity?

She doesn't use it so i can't say for certain. I've used fingerprint reader though with LK protectors on S8+, Note 20, and Note 20 Ultra with no issues.

oh, and watch the short video on how to install and it becomes very easy to get a perfect application.

I do not get what you mean. I've probably done 50 tempered glass instillations and I think I'm pretty good at it now. Every one I've seen had a full length plastic on one side that you peel and then put that side on the phone and then done. That's what this one has. Just the fingerprint didn't work after. I later put it back on and turned on touch sensitivity and still no go. Maybe I'll get a second one of them tomorrow if it worked for you. Not sure what I'm missing in what you are saying.

Did you try adding fingerprint after installation?
