Looks like they finally added e-sim on US models for S21 series. On the Samsung US website, there is a FAQ section under S21 Ultra [samsung.com] and S21/S21+ [samsung.com] it says e-sim support is available.

Do Galaxy S21 5G and S21+ 5G support eSIM?
Yes, you can use an electronic SIM, known as eSIM, with Galaxy S21 5G and S21+ 5G. The eSIM allows you to activate a mobile network plan right on your phone, so you can switch data plans or add an overseas phone number without the physical Nano SIM.

The US carriers donot enable Esim with Samsung phone for some reason. They permit it with Google and Apple , no idea why Samsung is not permitted. The feature is there but carriers are not supporting it.

What will happen to my RAku10 that's already showing my cash back if I initiate a cancel on my back-ordered s21 ultra?
It will go away.

Hi I just got an email saying Samsung rejected my trade in and they received an empty box. I have recordings and videos to prove otherwise. The photo of the empty box they have shown is not even mine. How do I raise a dispute?
Contacted Samsung chat to discuss this and told the agent that I have photo and video proof to prove that I have done my bit in sending back the s8. The chat agent checked with some "concerned team" and came back saying that they are approving the trade in. Apparently they checked the weight information on the fedex tracking website (the weight was around a pound including the phone and its box along with all the protective packaging). They even said it happens all the time so there is nothing to worry if we have followed the trade in instructions. I have another trade in under processing which is an s20 and will be really pissed if I have to deal with similar $#!+ for that one!

It's gets updated to zero. The cash back on R10 is always in sync with your order total with a lag of a day or two.
I mean initiate the cancel to get another 10% refund or something. I'm not cancelling my order at all. RAku10 adjust the cash back right?

Thanks for replying!

I saw your update but you're not the first to report similar incidents. I wonder if someone there is just doing funny businesses with the trade-in phones. What exactly does Samsung do with so many used phones anyways?

I have placed an order for a S21+ 5G 256GB which came around $757.73 after taxes. I was checking AT&T to add a line and saw that I can trade in my iPhone 7 plus, which I wanted to trade in with Samsung for S21+ 5G 256GB. I noticed that the trade in credits AT&T is giving me is $800 which is bringing down my monthly payments to 8.33 / mo for 30 months which will be $249.9. I am thinking to place an order through AT&T and cancel the order from Samsung. Am I missing anything here?

Can anyone see their fingerprint sensor on the screen? Almost looks like burn in, it's a square shape where the fingerprint sensor is located. Not noticeable on white backgrounds but definitely on grey / dark color backgrounds. Had to return and reorder due to horrible green tint, now this. If I return and reorder again I'd be missing out on the credits which have been reduced to $50...

What if you use the points before that? My points are already funded and I used to points to place an order somewhere else. But I got the cancel refund sometime back and points have not been updated yet.
If your referring to Samsung points. I believe they will show up negative as if you owe them. Like you buy and earn points and it's gonna take away from your negative points you owe them. Or they may end up charging you the point difference which I doubt

Correct. Subtotal was ~$1200 which was what they gave 30x points on. I actually paid ~$720.
Points will eventually be adjusted down to reflect what you actually paid. Happened to me last time I did this.

Just finished setting up my s21u. The screen is amazing compared to my Note 20. Feels almost exactly the same in hand. So far so good. Time to wipe the Note for trade in.
The S21u is definately heavier in the hand than the Note20u. I noticed it immediately. The Note 20 screen is bigger (wider) as well. I would have preferred a lighter S21u and wider screen like the Note 20 form factor.

Had my first disappointment with the S21 Ultra that made me miss my Note 8. Samsung Pay did not work at my Ralphs / Krogers supermarket.
Did you turn on NFC?

I've been using the S21+ for the last week and I just have say it's better than my S20 FE was in almost every way. Noticeably faster (not even a stutter), the camera seems to process images better, finger print sensor is faster, speakers are crisper when watching content or games. I know people were also concerned about screen resolution but this screen feels brighter and equally as clear.
