Mine got rejected yesterday. I call Cs and they escalated the issue that I sent in the A71 5G not the A71 and it should be acceptable
Great to hear that. So, I will need to chat or call CS if my A71 5G is rejected. Explain that it is A71 5G. Do I need to tell them anything else to get accepted? Thanks

That was quick

My S20 trade in sent on 2/2 and received at TN on 2/4 was approved this morning (2/6). That was quick. I had another S8 trade in to TX which was rejected as empty box. Had to raise a dispute to get that sorted. So TN definitely worked out better for me!

This processor, Hyla, in TN (also TX) claims they can handle 20,000 phones a day. I'm thinking I believe them. (edit to add: Just noticed they are owned by Assurance ]

I think this makes for a fairer process too, which means Samsung has less pissed off customers, given the fact that we've been talking about their trade-in process for the past few years now.

It's to Samsung's advantage to off load this trade-in risk to someone that can handle flatulations in the quality of what they receive. That is, it is to Samsung's advantage to have as many happy trades as possible not, counter to some would think, screw people over on trades.

I've had the worst trade experience with Google Fi. I looked up the address of where my trade went and the company was around 20-25 people. So, it was in their advantage to skim off the top and down-rate phones.

Hyla claims their process is mostly automated and learns as they process more phones. It is supposed to make the process less subjective.

I turned in a phone with a small scratch on the screen another listed above turned in one with a small dent. Reasonable in my opinion of any phone. They were both accepted. Finally, I think the intended market for the phone also plays a role. Hyla strongly implies they market shift phones, for example to Africa. A bulk processing and shifting market I think plays a role in what they see as acceptable, where as, I think in the past some of those processing the trade for Samsung where trying to pick out the best for domestic 'refurbished' resale. I hope the number crunchers for Samsung see value in having happy trades also.

My s21 ultra order from P@W was also funded today based on subtotal. 69,238 points funded on subtotal of $2307.93 but I paid $911.62 after trade in and $250 accessories discounts. Manually processed claim.

Sold s7+ tab already and Samsung had previously agreed to refund me $100 after shipping. Opened ticket with Samsung chat on refund after P@W funded.

So I'm net ~$500 out of pocket with +$690 in P@W points. Slick deal for me.
how do we use points?

Trying to get my WOW points to show up as pending and Perks at Work come back with this:

Thanks for reaching out to us! The receipt that you provided is not correspondent with the data that we have on file for you. Could you please provide an itemized copy of your receipt in PDF format?

I sent them a copy of my invoice in PDF format that was emailed to me. What else are they looking for here?

I uploaded order confirmation not invoice. Samsung order confirmation shows a total and subtotal price. Subtotal is more than total since total is what I actually paid. P@w paid on subtotal which matched what order Confirmation showed. I had 2 orders and they paid on subtotal on both.
Edit: I stand corrected. Samsung email comfirmation subtotal:$1077.93 while the Samsung invoice subtotal :$534.45 (after tradein etc before tax). The TOTAL for both are the same=what you actually paid+tax. This is screwed up in your favor. If you submit email orde confirmation they will use the higher number, if you submit the actual final invoice, they will process the lower number. Im debating if I should resubmit.

The intended "subtotal" from P@W perspective is what you actually paid before tax. And "total" is what you paid after tax. That's always how cashback sites (including P@W) work. And that's what the final invoice shows. The "subtotal" in Samsung order confirmation is the total of all merchandise MSRP before any discount and trade-in (in fact, most of us has order confirmation subtotal of $2000+ or close to that). There is absolutely no way P@W would intend to give 30% cashback on MSRP knowing that Samsung already discounted the MSRP by 70+% with all the discounts and trade-in.

So you are extremely lucky as P@W obviously made a mistake here.
I fully agree. Its not his fault though. Both should reflect the same number. This tells me that Perks funded the submission without confirming with Samsung first.

Did your pdf only show portions such as the bottom portion of your order? Maybe that's why they rejected it. You should save the pdf as an entire copy which shows your email, date received, order details and final total. This is how I did mine: Open the receipt, print, choose to Broadgunpdfmachine instead of your printer, that will allow you save the whole file as .pdf format. Good luck.

I see 60 fast as Max option for both QHD and FHD. 8k is 24 fast only.

Eidt: pro video mode has FHD as 120 fps,

Actually it may not matter that much. I read in another post that in the end the funds available for use has to be paid out by Samsung first. So if Samsung doesn't pay, the amount entered by P@W CSR (and showing up as "pending") is meaningless. In other words, all manual submission entered by CSR could be at risk.

I'd like to see this theory confirmed (or otherwise) though, as I myself had to go through manual submission, possibly due to my use of RK10 at the same time.
