I'll just note that whenever you see a bunch of cheap Blurays at Amazon, especially knowing how Amazon pricematches and is a follower rather than a leader most of the time, it's good to check Best Buy (and possibly Target or Walmart) to see if the same deals can be found there. Also, some people might want to steer their purchases elsewhere considering Amazon's recent actions against certain companies they don't like.

Some of these movies are available at the same price at BB, others aren't. So you'll have to check. I always say support the little guy. We need more, not less competition.

I dread the day other retailers die out and Amazon deals dwindle even further. Slimy and underhanded.

This includes other things like "matching" the time when Best Buy stopped their Gamer's Club and Amazon dropped their 20% discounts plus other perks like on trade-ins too.

If prices are equal (and I'm able to get free shipping at BB and Target easily), the retailer I pick is always who I perceive as the lesser of many evils based on how they behave. No retailer is what I'd call actively good. The 4 we've mentioned are all relatively large compared to the small "mom & pop" or chain stores most of which were put out of business by these 4 or were driven out of business by imposed shutdowns last year. Walmart and Amazon both employed the same price match until you drive the competition out of business and then jack up the prices strategy, and I don't like either of them for that. In my book of least to most evil, I rank them as BB, Target, Walmart, and Amazon. I don't have Prime because I choose not to support Amazon more than necessary. I doubt any of these 4 will go out of business. Considering BB initiates the most deals on physical media, that's another reason I prefer to reward them for doing that instead of someone who price matches.

Pretty reasonable argument. It'd be cool if people who ran businesses got a degree on how not to take unnecessary political stances. I'll never understand why you'd want to alienate half your potential customers.🤔

That worked decades ago. In case you haven't noticed, one particular party has ensured that corporations are given at least equal, if not more, but never less rights than human citizens.

I would worry more about corporations in essence picking and choosing the representatives we end up voting for, than this nonsense.

They are too big to let some portions of the half of the population drive their decisions and dollars.

edit: it's a debate for another forum though.
