Alternatively, you could pay real money for a game that one guy created, developed and constantly adds huge updates to on his own. There aren't many games I feel that way about this is one of them.

I have this game on PC, Switch, and on my iPhone. By far the best platform to purchase Stardew Valley, in my opinion, is PC. It plays better and has better controls/is more precise. I don't regret it on any platform, but the Switch version is my least favorite. Hope this helps!

Very relaxing game. Even after you "beat it", by completing the community center, there is a lot of replay value in the different farms and challenges you can attempt. I have put so many hours in. I like trying to complete the community center in the first year.

Phone version doesn't have multiplayer. If you want the latest and greatest version with the newest features and the ability to mod, get it for PC. Switch is usually the next place the updates come to but consoles don't get mods.

Switch is the platform I use. No complaints at all. Portability is key for me and I did not like the controls on iOS.

Wish there was a seamless save sync feature, only thing preventing me from picking this up. I have one set up between Android and Steam, really don't want to start over again.
