I went to the same corporate store and got 2 N10 and 2 N100 for $100. The guy tried to lie to me that I need pay $120 and set up auto pay to get the $100/4 lines deal and I said that was not correct. The guy just said "ohh, you know everything and you are like a boss" and proceeded with $100 cash.
I ported 2 numbers.

Funny thing: my friend went to the same exact store and the store not only said $120 with auto pay is required and that my friend could only get 2 N10 and 2 samsung A21, not 2 N100. My friend left with empty hands.
These stores are like shit.

Man do I love Slickdeals. Went back in today to exchange 2 of the phones I got on the 11th for the N10 and N100. So far I am loving the N10 which is much better than the LG K92 I got from Cricket and returned.

I did my exchange 5 day after purchase but the receipt stated 14 days. Stores can not give you problems when their terms or printed on the receipt, if the do or should fight it.

I am in CA and just did this deal today, walked out with two N10s for $80 total

I've done a Metro deals before and what people have to realize is it's really up to the salesperson and/or manager you get that day. They can deny you or charge you extra fees on a whim, it's really up to them.
Hi could you please tell us what store in CA, you went to ? Is it in so cal ? I'm looking for one that is not shady the one I went to wanted 80 for one phone

what store did u go to?

edit:
based on our response , it doesn't appear u have read much of this thread.

there is info, on why u may have been asked to pay tax on the full price of phone as well as AF.

i would suggest u read posts here that tell u why this was the case.

Is it possible to port out these 4 numbers (2 port-in and 2 new) before abandoning metro service? Or are they lost?

I have four numbers to port and would really like to use instant switch rebates for four total phones - 2 N10 and two iPhone SE. The website has a mix of messages. All offers state that I will need to pay tax and activation fee. I will drive to a corporate store in case that saves the taxes.

When I click iPhone SE - near the top are these terms (which I want no part of) -

In-store only. After rebate redemption & 3 months service with AutoPay. Limit 1. ID validation req. 64 GB only. Offer not valid in RI/CT/Miami-Dade.

When I scroll way down on the same page I see this:

Switcher Instant Rebate: For a limited time at participating Metro® by T-Mobile stores, purchase an Apple iPhone SE 64GB and port-in an existing eligible wireless number to that phone and receive an instant $300 rebate off full retail price with validation of name, address, and date of birth provided through independent database and presentation of matching identification. Limit two (2) total phone instant rebates per account/household[/B]. Excludes phone numbers currently on T-Mobile or active on Metro in past 180 days. Rebates provided in form of credit against regular purchase price at time of sale and have no cash value. See store associate for complete details. Sales tax not included and is collected in accordance with state and local laws. Certain restrictions apply. No rain checks. Offer available while supplies last.

I might be able to take my Mom for the ride so I have two "households" to bring in. I'd rather go by myself in I can burn the two iPhone SE per account/household at the same time as I burn a similar "instant" offer for Nord 10.

Based on everyone's experiences - what is my best/safest route? One account with four lines or bite the bullet and get my mom to do the two iphones while I do the two Nord N10?

I think the service is a little cheaper if I can nab four for $100 but it shouldn't be too much more to do two accounts. I'm the only Android user in my house and I don't sell stuff, otherwise I understand it could be slick to get four N100 phones as well on two four-for-100 deals.

Thanks!

Dan
