I went to the same corporate store and got 2 N10 and 2 N100 for $100. The guy tried to lie to me that I need pay $120 and set up auto pay to get the $100/4 lines deal and I said that was not correct. The guy just said "ohh, you know everything and you are like a boss" and proceeded with $100 cash.
I ported 2 numbers.

Funny thing: my friend went to the same exact store and the store not only said $120 with auto pay is required and that my friend could only get 2 N10 and 2 samsung A21, not 2 N100. My friend left with empty hands.
These stores are like shit.

I asked for $30 plan, unlimited talk/text, 2G data. That is in the cooperate store in Houston area, I45 south
The lady pushed the $50 last night... She wouldn't let me use any other lower plan.

Still looking for the answer whether I can stack an Iphone 7 free along with the N10 with 1 ID?
I doubt you could even find a Metro store that has Iphone 7 anymore. I tried several stores some days ago. Nobody had them and from what I was told....they are probably not going to carry them anymore. Good solid device, but they are several gens old. Metro's website still advertises them but maybe only very few stores in the entire US.

Anyone had luck calling CS to have another phone added and the N10 removed from the line? (so N10 can be sold)

Quick question, pardon my ignorance. If I activate a ting on a phone just to have the number to port in on a phone I just activated a prepaid number on, does that cancel the prepaid number? I want to be able to use BOTH numbers to port in for this deal.

Data point for success:

-Purchased $5.99 Boost telephone number on eBay.
-Wrote down telephone number, account number and PIN on an index card.
-Called Corporate Store to make sure they had N10 in stock. Check - they did.
-Drove to Corporate Store.
-Handed index card to clerk. Stood 6' back and said "I would like an N10 under the Switcher promo. I only need a $30 2GB Plan because I only use about 250MB data per month."
-She was excited because I had all my ducks in a row and knew what I wanted. "I love customers that come prepared." (Good!)
-Clerk asked for my driver's license and checked it in the system.
-Handed her flat $30.00 in cash.
-I had to come up with a new 8-digit PIN.
-She made a test-call with the new phone.
-Was out the door in under 20 minutes.

Thanks and rep to OP!

No need to call. You can do swap in metro online account or you can chat with the rep or automated. I moved one line to another device through chat.

Agreed its a primitive model...but still has a better resale value than the n10 and my kids prefer it more than android

The N10 hasn't even been out for a month. There's barely anyone selling it so we don't know what the resale value will be like yet.

Good condition iPhone 7 goes for anywhere from $150-$200. You think the N10 will sell for less than that?

For anyone interested. I found the official website for the 4 line 100 dollar deal. Showing this to the employee may give you more leverage when negotiating.

Couldn't hurt to try it but these employees know what they're doing. They'll tell you they're signing you up for that plan, while actually putting you on the $120 plan and insisting you have to sign up for auto pay to get the $100 price for subsequent months. Then they'll secretly add insurance and other fees to jack the price up even higher.

And if you show them the ad for $100 again they'll insist that's what they put you on, and it's just some total mystery as to why you have to pay so much more than that, it must be taxes or something who knows, just pay us!

Perhaps this entered his dialog since it has been in all my news feeds last two days?

https://9to5mac.com/2021/01/21/ip...-in-value/

He won't get around the fact that family members drank too much Apple Kool-Aid

I spent the extra 99.99 for an SE2 on this deal since I agree it will live longer than an iPhone 7 in Apple's ecosystem - that SE 2 might be the last Apple product I have to buy for my Mom!

Did you get phones at corporate? Not good experience at Phx corporate and left without phones. By the way, son got an expensive 5g phone month ago and he is really unhappy about 5g in Phx and Flagstaff.

My experience at corporate store also. Keeps saying I'll get a credit back on my bill for the next month. Left store without phones.
