I went to the same corporate store and got 2 N10 and 2 N100 for $100. The guy tried to lie to me that I need pay $120 and set up auto pay to get the $100/4 lines deal and I said that was not correct. The guy just said "ohh, you know everything and you are like a boss" and proceeded with $100 cash.
I ported 2 numbers.

Funny thing: my friend went to the same exact store and the store not only said $120 with auto pay is required and that my friend could only get 2 N10 and 2 samsung A21, not 2 N100. My friend left with empty hands.
These stores are like shit.

I was able to port 2 numbers from ebay for 2 N10 5G and 2 N100 for $120 out of the door from the CS in Irving, TX

Has anyone tried unlocking the bootloader and fashing the clean rom and get rid of MetroPCS crap?

Came here to ask the same question. These phones aren't useful to me if they're gonna be locked for the next 6 months. I don't know what metro's unlocking process is like when it comes to the bootloader. Is it like T-Mobile's (OEM unlock option grayed out until SIM is unlocked?) or is there a way around it. If I have to pay someone to unlock it before the 6 months, then what's the cost? Does anyone have any experience with bootloader unlocking OnePlus phones on metro?

There is no way to unlock the bootloader on either the n10 or n100. There is no way to sim unlock the phones because oneplus fixed all of the exploits used on the oneplus 6t etc long ago. There's a chance that this could change within 6 months, but chances are you won't be able to sim unlock for 6 months and there's a good chance this phone never gets any traction in the dev/hack community to get the bootloader unlocked. The bootloader unlocking could be tied to sim unlocking though, so maybe in 6 months you'll just get both.

I just came back from a corporate store in Mesa, AZ and was helped by Rosa. I paid $132 in cash for 2 N10 and 2 N100. Insurance of $6 each for the 2 N10. Was there any tax and other fees associated with this since that's what Rosa said? I know there was no activation fee. I still think $132 was not too bad. I did ask for the $100 for 4 lines plan.

Right now I am thinking that she put me on the $120 plan plus the insurance on two phones giving the total of $132 and no sales tax.
Bumping up my original question, are taxes a thing in AZ for MetroPCS?

Also, I am not familiar with MetroPCS. Am I able to give these phones to other MetroPCS friends and they can use them? Am I able to just switch metropcs sim cards within the phones and they would work, or does MetroPCS lock each phone with a specific SIM card number?

This is the fist oneplus phone on MetroPCS so I don't think anyone can share that experience. But I am sure as this model gets popular it might be possible to unlock. But just like the other phones the unlocking might be super expensive. I wish they would let it work on T-Mobile

Is this your first time using Metro? $69.99 is the upgrade price.

Do you know who? Tried to look and on eBay and see only a Note 10+ unlock for $75. One Plus or n10 metro don't show up anything for unlock for those models.

Yes first time at metro and trying to port. They took all my info and last four digits of social. Told me that computer cant validate me and that without validation its $69 for the N10. It also says on the N10 display that the phone is free with validation and $69 without validation. Maybe they put in my info incorrectly?

Someone else had that exact same problem as you today. Ask them what they mean by not being validated. Is it the phone number? Is it your ID? There shouldn't be any issue unless the porting itself is the problem.

If it's your first time, it shouldn't cost $69.99.

I went to two AD stores and none of them have the N10. I went ahead and got two N100, Moto G stylus, and Lg Stylus 6. $120 Out the door without tax or autopay.
They signed me up for the plan with 15GB hotspot, I verified that I can hotspot.

I have a problem with the Lg Stylus 6 phone. They gave me the phone with the stylus broke in half, and the other half is missing. Talk about bad Quality Assurance from LG.

I went back to the store and asked for a replacement, but he is out of that phone. He promises to swap out a new phone before next month (before I pay next month). Should I trust the saleman?
Should I claim a warranty with LG?

Does anyone that has the device, can they check in Developer Options if OEM Unlocking is even an option?
https://support.oneplus.com/app/a...mart-phone
Should look like that screenshot there.

Thanks this is good info though. It would be a shame if there is no way to unlock itr at all.

On Samsung devices that aren't able to be Bootloader unlocked at all, Samsung removes the option completely from Developer Options; it just doesn't exist. But on my Pixel I previously financed with T-Mobile, it would say "Unavailable on carrier-locked devices." underneath OEM Unlocking and the option was not toggleable. I was able to chat with T-Mobile, they submitted an unlock request on the device and I had to use the T-Mobile Unlock app, which unlocked the Pixel and removed that message and allowed me to toggle OEM Unlocking, and unlock the bootloader.

I'm just unsure if the metro variants are "more locked" than the T-Mobile ones. It would explain the price a bit more, as it seems OnePlus does have an option to bootloader unlock the T-Mobile variants officially.
