I went to the same corporate store and got 2 N10 and 2 N100 for $100. The guy tried to lie to me that I need pay $120 and set up auto pay to get the $100/4 lines deal and I said that was not correct. The guy just said "ohh, you know everything and you are like a boss" and proceeded with $100 cash.
I ported 2 numbers.

Funny thing: my friend went to the same exact store and the store not only said $120 with auto pay is required and that my friend could only get 2 N10 and 2 samsung A21, not 2 N100. My friend left with empty hands.
These stores are like shit.

Those numbers are for CA stores? The CS stores in my area have corporate number...i was able to find store numbers using directory search, but no answers...cisco unity voicemail...shitty company....
yes. in CA. they list numbers for stores.

in east coast and other parts of usa, they list customer service number as u have found out.

the goal is to know if your number can be ported into metro.

makes no difference if the store that gives u the answer is in CA or in your town.

is ok. call the number when we in ca are open in ~ 3 hours

countless people here have reported boost numbers purchased from ebay for 5.99 , now raised to 9.99 [likely due to high demand] , have worked.

Thanks. I wanted to call them for inventory and not port eligibility...several folks in the thread confirmed that Visible numbers, which were on Sprint/T-Mob within past 90 days, port-in worked for them for this offer.

I finally got thru the corporate store...no N10 5G in stock..

Sorry guys, just got home.

Yes, thanks for you help.

He started activating the N10s first and then the N100s. After he was done with the N100s, he said, there was an error when activating the N10, both of them. There might be an issue with the account numbers/PINs you gave me or something else, need to call the corporate.

And Yes, I removed the sim and re-inserted. Still the same!

- When I call the numbers, they are busy. When I want to dial a number it shows this mssg: "No cellular network available. Connect to an available Wi-Fi Network to make calls."
- the other two numbers for N100 are working fine.

He said the same thing (prob a problem with the account number/PIN). I don't want to go back to that store. It was far because the nearby CS was temp closed. Also, I am kind of worried about the account numbers/pins that may be wrong. I assume, if he didn't want to go home, he would cancel the order because the porting failed. At this time, I cannot even replace the porting numbers because it is already in their system. So I guess calling them would be better. But what if the account # and pins are wrong? Can they just refuse to activate them?

Is there any way I reset the phones and initiate the activation from my end?

Good idea, I will try that first.

My N100 numbers show Tmobile.
My N10 numbers show Sprint so obviously porting was somehow stopped in the middle (Boost --> Sprint --> Tmobile)
It's actually easy to fix this but will take a little time, because it happened to one of my ported # ...the acc# wasn't correct but the store still let you walked out with phones lol.

Anyway, use the phone that works, call 611....ask for port department or the customer service that has ability to view and edit porting status...

From there, tell them that when you were in store, the rep told you that it will take about 30-an hour for port to complete and you left the store
Tell them that a day after, 2 phones still showing not working, you have spent hours with your previous carrier to verify the account info and all are correct.
Tell them that the store rep shouldn't have let you walked out the store when porting wasn't even completely done the first place.
Now you are holding the phones that are not working at all, and you already paid for the service and couldn't even use the phones and the service with it.
You got very frustrated that you have to spend lots of hours on hold on previous carrier and on metro trying to get this issue solved but just couldn't go anywhere.
So now I'm (you are) calling for help, that I gave up on porting, can you (the customer service) please just provide me the 2 new # for these 2 phones so I can get it over with and don't have to deal with this any more!!!

Ask nicely and told them you were so excited to join metro and just to found out the porting is taking too much trouble and times...now they will ask you to provide all the porting info again to verify in their end again and they will offer you 1. To port again and to call carrier to verify all info for you...2. Just give you new #....
Tell them that you really tired and spending lots of time on this...you would really just want new #.......
From there, they should be able to cancel the porting and give you the new # for those phones thats not working...

It took me only 30 minutes on hold and got it done...
While they are doing this and after its done, make sure ask them that no change or any charges for this....

Good luck...I rather have a new # then dealing with porting issue and can have it unlocked later on...

Here's one DP from my end:
Summary: successful port-in of 1 line, got a N10 with out-of-the-door price of $70
Number to port from: Freedompop (on ATT network)
Location: Seattle area
CS or AD: AD, no CS in the state
Plan cost: $40
Taxes: $30, all ADs I called asked for taxes, didn't spend time arguing

Pretty smooth experience, the guy who helped me definitely know what they are doing, probably because I only asked for one line so they did not budge and moved on fairly quickly.
Of course avoid ADs unless you had no choices like folks in WA or OR.

The phone itself feels slick, lightweight and handy, 5G speed on the slow side though (120mbps down, 15mbps up)

good info.

similar happened to me.
but i didnt think of asking for new number.
they had to resubmit the port, shich caused some billing isses and a amount due of $25 when the port was sucessful. which caused my lines to go into suspension.

they credited the amount immediatly.

but ya, not a big deal, and they will fix it.

Phone customer service and store reps are in 2 different worlds.
If anyone plan to stay with metro, the call service is actually good, I often got lots of credits by calling and asked for them fixing some issues or stuff when I was with them....
Just now I'm on tmobile, no need to use metro...
But can't help to get all these metro free phones..

Got 8 moto g stylus, 4 n10, 4 n100 laying around here now lol...
Now let's wait for 6 mths for some of them to be unlocked and get ready to jump on next deals.
