I went to the same corporate store and got 2 N10 and 2 N100 for $100. The guy tried to lie to me that I need pay $120 and set up auto pay to get the $100/4 lines deal and I said that was not correct. The guy just said "ohh, you know everything and you are like a boss" and proceeded with $100 cash.
I ported 2 numbers.

Funny thing: my friend went to the same exact store and the store not only said $120 with auto pay is required and that my friend could only get 2 N10 and 2 samsung A21, not 2 N100. My friend left with empty hands.
These stores are like shit.

Thanks. Glad that you got your account back but that's new low even for MetroPCS. I've been just following this thread from the start and have not taken advantage of it yet, at this rate, I'll most likely sit this one out. Don't want to deal with the nonsense these MetroPCS people come up with.

What plan did you use for H2O and what process does it take to get the porting info?
They were old old H2O SIMs that I got off of Ebay a few years back that had 1 mo of service included... they cost $3 ea back then and I bought dozens. I activated online and then immediately chatted with H2O to get the account number (the text it to your phone) and then they gave me the PIN. All in all took just a few minutes.

Took them 4 days to actually release the number for the port and required a second chat session.

Luckily, the Metro guy let me leave with the new N10 before the port finalized.

Same thing happened to me. I was eligible for Switch but not Switch Plus .... turns out it was the number I wanted to port in. I was trying a FreedomPop legacy number for port in. Tried it instead with a Visible number and boom ... I was suddenly eligible for Switch Plus (free N10). I ran home and quickly activated an old H2O SIM, went back to store and it was also eligible for Switch Plus so did the 4 phone deal for $100 cash.
Hi, I am planning to switch using the freedom pop number. Looking at your comment, looks like I wouldn't be able to get the N10 for free with freedom pop port in.

I think it depends ... my FP number was an old legacy number on their old SIMS. You may have success with the newer FP numbers that are not VOIP numbers like the old ones were.

Bought 2 Ting Starter kits from Target that had only 1 sim card included (no go for this deal.)

Then I saw that Best Buy had the same deal on the starter kit but none were in stock in store, so I ordered 2 online (assuming they would contain the 2 sims instead of 1,) I was wrong.

My plan is to buy 2 numbers from eBay to port and try my luck at a couple of AD's either tomorrow or Friday.(No CS's remotely nearby.)

Wish me luck and I'll report back after my attempts.

I have 2 boost numbers that I purchased on eBay (30 days expiry) but the rep called up and it went to voicemail. Got denied.
If you're still looking to try then you can get the numbers from me in exchange of AGC

Off topic but any clue what happens if you contact corporate over refusal from the store? I have a call scheduled with them.

For the people that bought Tmobile sim Tings, go to chat. I was with chat and was offered 2 Verizon Ting sim cards. they will need Ting sim numbers and Verizon band capable IMEI. They will send them free and will have $30 credit. Make sure you ask about the $30. You can even put the sim cards in one account and get $30 credit each line. I got two lines in one account and was given $30 credits on both lines

I went to a CS, the lady told me the number/ account you're porting should be in your name. And that person has to be present to verify his ID. Has it happened to anyone? Even she verified my ID including my social, for a new line, but she said I'm not qualified, nor my friend. That's some utter BS. That's the CS in DC.

Going to give up in trying my local 7 ADs. It's been almost two weeks and none of them have received either the N10 or N100 in stock. Absolutely pathetic.

Thank goodness there was a CS near even though the closest one is still an hour away.
