I went to the same corporate store and got 2 N10 and 2 N100 for $100. The guy tried to lie to me that I need pay $120 and set up auto pay to get the $100/4 lines deal and I said that was not correct. The guy just said "ohh, you know everything and you are like a boss" and proceeded with $100 cash.
I ported 2 numbers.

Funny thing: my friend went to the same exact store and the store not only said $120 with auto pay is required and that my friend could only get 2 N10 and 2 samsung A21, not 2 N100. My friend left with empty hands.
These stores are like shit.

I dont understand why people keep asking cancelling prepaid service. It's pre-paid. Means no pay no service.
I think some people (like me) wonder what happens if you get 4 line account but for the second month and beyond want to use only 1 or 2 lines..

I have more than twenty years personal experience with T-mobile and its unsavory business praxctices. I first got saddled with them after their takeover of Voicestream twenty years ago and now again with the Sprint takeover. Never have dealt with a company so pathologically disposed to deceit.

Right now I have no wi-fi calling at home. If you leave the cellular coverage wi-fi calling will simply time out after a few hours leaving you with a totally useless dead phone.

Rather than be honest about this they put customers on a roller coaster of "trouble-shooting the phone", making customers travel to stores over and over for new sim cards where they try to con them in to "Upgrading to the T-Mob experience", wasting their time telling them to do factory resets. If I had a penny for all the hours of my time they have eaten up then I could buy four flagship Samsungs.

Keep in mind that their execs swore under oath to regulators who were over-seeing the merger that T-mob "was committed to accessibility for rural customers". Right. We all depend on wi-fi calling and they continue to throw the switch on us.

T-mob is a joke locally on the central west coast. No one wants to deal with them.

T-mob was caught in a scandal over-selling service knowing full well they had not enough room on their towers to support the sold service, lying to customer that their phone would not work alleging that it was broken, coercing them to buy new ones and failing to disclose lack of provisioning of the empty shell service they were selling.

Subscribers living in well provisioned areas should still be aware of who they are dealing with.

If I were to write here all the crooked deceitful practices T-mobile has engaged in or attempted with me then it would add fifty pages to this thread.
You complain about them but stuck with them for 20 years?
Your wifi problem could very well be your phone.
Central West Coast?? Where exactly are you talking about? Who is "no one" you say that does not want to deal with them?

Just port it out. Problem solved.
I just ported from Metro to visible. I guess I need to chat with the support to add the offer.
Thanks for your replies. Very helpful.

Can we ever cancel service? I just called and asked about it and they said if I cancelled one of the lines I would have to either return the phone or pay the price of it.

The price changes to those package prices, which are higher per line.

I've ported out 3 of the 4. If I was going to stick around, the rate for 1 is $40.

Yes, exactly. I bought 2 lines but I only want to keep one. So I need to cancel one without being charged $300 somehow. Has anyone been successfull?

3 lines from this deal? After you port them do they just "disappear" from your account and now it shows only 1 active line with next payment due as $40?

I'm doing CB, too, but not taking a risk on the big $ one. I've never used them and am not about to test them on a big $ deal like this. Sticking with tried and true.

I am doing a similar thing with Visible. But you forgot to mention a $40 from CB site also.
I am using 99 cent ting sim from best buy with $30 credit. I still have two left.
Can you link me to this Visible promotion? I tried searching for it but could not find anything.

The take home message is the moral turpitude trickling down from the lying thieving gangsters who run the Mob at corporate.

[ "Sir, If you want premium service then you need to upgrade to the T-Mobile Experience" ]

... store rep to me after being sent there by tech support to get a new sim card. They refused to activate the new Mob sim unless I purchased the "Experience" which would triple my monthly bill AND solve nothing. I did eventually get the Mob sim tech support wanted installed and another and another until I felt like one of the Sims myself. Of course it solved nothing.

I obviously have not stuck with them for 20 years if the Mob just took over my Sprint account.

There is nothing wrong with my less than one year old S10+ or my router. The phone works fine on wi-fi --as long as it sees a cell signal every few hours-- which simply isn't possible it you travel beyond the extremely limited cellular coverage area consisting of only a few blocks surrounding city center. Mob coverage does not reach the fuel island at the Costco.

Wi-fi calling works at home until T-mob's system automatically cuts off access to wi-fi calling after a few hours of not seeing any cell signal. The Mob lies about the reality of this and have have consumed endless hours days moths running me in circles for "the fix" which is in reality will only come by waving good-bye.

I will eventually migrate over to Verizon, the only carrier that services rural customers and has good coverage in this county. I'm waiting until there is once again a reason for retired persons to even own a cell phone.

Everyone here knows that the Mob refuses to service the few towers the Mob owns in-county. They use to them to maintain a presence so that they can continue to con new subscribers, mostly newcomers and unsuspecting seniors. Even to the point of hawking non-existent 5G service and conning victims to buy useless 5G phones.

We at least had service at one spot on the Coast Highway until a storm hit two years ago. They simply refused to repair it. This is less than one hour south of SF.

The Mob is a sick joke here. If you are with the Mob then it is assumed that you are financially or educationally or linguistically challenged, or not very mobile or not a legal resident. The Mob does most of its business here in the heavily non-English speaking southern end of the county.

The Mob, contrary to what it swore to under oath during the merger hearings , is not and will not make any effort whatsoever to improve access to rural Americans. Not even anything as simple as throwing a switch to stop the time out of Wi-Fi Calling access. The Mob, like all gangsters, is only interested in greed. Heavily populated urban areas.

Don't mess with the Mob unless you have a big fierce dog to tackle the repo men the Mob will send to your home at 3 am should you refuse to give back the phone and fail to pay protection money.
