And it turns the unlock icon into a mobile hotspot icon.
Can you get rid of Metro bloatware, or does that just stay with phone after unlock?

nice. ty.

what ? they requiring u to move to TM?

i dont want that at all.

TM signal for me is poopy ..compared to Sprint
I have Sprint in a phone from Tello and see the impact of this rapid shutdown - only getting 3G or even as slow as 1x in a populous area of NJ.

Sad for you - the end is closer than you think: https://www.tmonews.com/2021/03/d...down-date/

Tello is supposed to send me a new SIM this month.

So I ported in my 48 day old Metro pcs number to Cricket and now I can't receive texts or calls.
I can send texts and make calls.
And everything else works.
Has anyone else experienced this ?

I believe it's on Cricket's end. Keep pushing them. If the port info was wrong, you wouldn't have been able to make calls.

Btw, did you pay for the second month on Metro? I paid only first month and not for the second. Now wondering if Metro will allow the number to port out at this non-active stage.

one of my line has this kind of issue, the line ( number ) was originally with Visible, I ported the number to Metro, but for almost a month, I was unable to receive calls, but outgoing calls and data no problem, since I didn't use the line, I didn't care, then I ported the line to Cricket, same problem with Cricket, while I was doing the port from Metro to Cricket, Metro possibly found the issue with this line, then automatically replaced it with a new number, but the line with issue had been ported to Cricket already, now same problem, no incoming calls, everything else works, I found that the line is actually still with Visible during the two carrier's porting, now this line seems still active on Visible, I can request porting pin. I think as the others said that the port has never been complete. Now I don't know what to do with the line, use the number to port somewhere again? let it die?

You have been extremely helpful throughout this thread! Do you happen to know the policy for Cricket in this regard? How long they allow to port out after the service is inactive? Thanks in advance!

The pin number on visible is only good for 7 days. I think your pin was expired so the port did not complete. I'd just let it die if its not your main number.
