Good deal! You're going to need a case most likely, so this works nicely and that's worth $49 by itself. I got in on the original Costco deal that included the elite strap. I haven't had issues as some others have, but you will most likely want a better strap (elite, third party, etc...) than what comes with the Quest - for any of those new to the Quest / VR. Hope that helps!

This one doesn't come with fit pack / elite strap. They replaced it with fabric case instead

Thanks for the heads up, I had just checked yesterday. I pre-ordered through Costco.com and received a faulty unit. Waking from sleep would cause the screen to go wobbly until restarted. The manufacture date was 8/20. I returned it and ordered another towards the end of December through Costco.com with a manufacture date of 12/2020 and it sounded like an electric razor with the fan going in and out as I turned my head. I've just ordered another one on this deal and plan to return the current one. Let's hope 3rd time is a charm... I really wish they had better QA or build quality - both would bump the price up but this is kind of ridiculous.

Also, lame they started charging shipping on the Quest 2 bundles.. The last 2 I ordered didn't charge for standard shipping.

Yep, that's what I was trying to say, it's the fabric strap - and any potential buyers would most likely want an elite / third party strap.

I ordered, for my kids. They both have gaming PC'S which I gave them for Xmas, let's see how well they like it. Guess i have to order the usd-c to A for another $80 or $90 since their PC don't have C port, mine does.

i use this $25 cable/extension and it works perfectly fine. you can buy the expensive one but its not needed.

Or get the virtual desktop app for $20 if you've got good wifi, and they can stream the PC games wirelessly.

Got one for Xmas. It is awesome. Only played a few games since don't get much time to play it. I think you still get Asgard Wrath free. Just need gamer PC to play that game.

There is room for improve, but Ready Player One environment actually could happen. Also, I am not a fan of FB but this product will a strong part of its future.
