I needed the angle grinder (with brake) since I already have one of their circular saw but would've gotten it otherwise. They have a brake as well and it's super nice not worrying about where to put it down since it doesn't spin anymore.

So now Flexvolt is 20v tools? Do they need the "flexvolt" battery or will normal 20v batteries also work?

These are" flexvolt advantage" series. Get a little more power with flexvolts but can use 20v as well.

Thanks. Now I see the little sticker on the blade guard that says "advantage". Wonder why they don't put that in the title or anywhere in the listing - seems like important info.
