This is listed as used, but I have bought a bunch of stuff from this seller on recent Slick Deals and it's all been new. YMMV

I put this on my watch list last night and received an offer today for $169. YMMV

I think for (likely) new tools at this price it's pretty slick. Even at $199, a pretty good deal. Retail at Home Depot, etc. is $399.

DeWalt DCK489D2 Kit. All Brushless:

1. Drill/Driver (DCD708)
2. Impact Driver (DCF809)
3. Recriprocating Saw (DCS369)
4. Oscillating Multi-Tool (DCS354)

Plus two 2.0 AH Batteries, charger, and bag.

How long does it take for the coupon code to be sent? I really want to pull the trigger on this deal. And from what I saw above, the tools come looking unused? Never heard of the company!

Given it's a holiday weekend and the number that have sold in the past 24 hours, I wouldn't count on receiving one before they sell out. My guess is if they are moving this fast they won't feel any need to send a deal and/or will run out before they would anyway.

I'd either be in for $199 or put on watch list, but plan on not getting it.

With seller paying for return shipping, I may have to buy something.

Quote from BruceInCola :
I am NOT accusing this seller of anything, just a personal musing.

I used to spend a lot of time in Lowe's and HD for a short while I worked in construction, and saw several instances of ppl just picking these kits up and just walking out the door with them.

The last guy I saw do this, I was in the middle of talking to an employee, and I noticed him staring off in the distance.

All of a sudden he said 'he's going to try and walk out with that' and I looked over and there's this kid with a cart full of Dewalt kit boxes fast walking to the exit. (He made it out BTW, as I assume employees are discouraged (prohibited?) from actively stopping thefts in progress due to liability).

Anyhoo, point is, I bet a lot of the tool kits sold on eBay ( 'used' but actually new) and sold for way under even good sale prices, are hot.

Its not worth the trouble and risks in Cali to deal with thieves anymore. No one will go to jail for a misdemeanor. Given the new VP, soon to be P, this can become federal law. I have seen carts full of stuff being briskly pushed passed Walmarts theft prevention door person who asks everyone for their receipt. The door person confirmed that they are told to just let them go.

"California law defines petty theft as the theft of any property with a value of $950 or less. Most petty thefts are charged as misdemeanors, which carry a sentence of up to six months in county jail, a fine of no more than $1,000, or both."

Of the three items I've purchased from this seller all have included on the boxes Home Depot return labels. And have all both appeared and functioned as new. Overall positive experiences

Is the warranty the 30 days from seller?

I was offered the same discount as OP. Still on the fence because no need for all tools in the kit and lots of Dewalt tools are listed for sale on CL already.

If by warranty you mean the return window then yes they list as 30 days. I'm not sure how manufacturer warranty would apply and would suspect it might not since I'm not certain manufacturers would consider this authorized reseller.

Yeah, only 30 days is what also think.

Thanks, I didn't get this model but Tools Direct had the dewalt DWE4997VS 13a brushless die grinder:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/353355128696

This is a tool that came out less than a year ago, and everywhere else it has been $300 or above, the lowest I have ever seen it with a coupon sale was $270. They had it listed for $194 (used, but hoping it is actually new damaged box, plus they have 30 day returns.) I put it on my watch list, and less than an hour later I had an offer for $28 off. Sweet deal at $162.

Yes. The 20V MAX batteries work in all Atomic and XR tools.

I recently had to get a warranty replacement from DeWALT on a battery. I had bought the tool at Home Depot, had the receipt, etc. But they did not even ask. They just wanted the manufacturing codes on the item.

I have read (and believe) that DeWALT will give you 6 months plus the warranty period, based on the manufacturing date stamp, regardless of receipt. They may not advertise that, but I can believe they do it. Easy, fair, makes for happy customers like me. So if the tool sells with a 3 year warranty, you can probably count on getting a no hassle warranty through 3.5 years from the manufacturing date stamp.

This company sells such high volume that it seems they don't care about posting photos of items and they don't have allowance for questions or comments or accept offers.
Just think if you have a problem with your purchase?
