In what situation would one need one of these? I do have a reciprocating saw but not sure if I would need something this size. lol

I thought the same thing. We already have the mini, the full size, and the 60v. But I bought one anyway a few months back, and it comes in really handy. It gets a significant amount of use. Most especially because it's a one hand wonder.

I just upgraded a few months ago and I love this tool. It's very smooth. Really good price. I think the best I saw it was $99 at Ace.

My wife is looking for something that'll cut through large block of candle wax easily. I wonder if this would fit the bill....

I have a hot knife and that'd be a disaster. hot knife is for foam.
