Thoughts on this article?

I understand a lot of pro-crypto have their biases especially due to their exposures. however having experienced the housing crisis/gfc in 2007, I understand the unwinding of CDOs, CMOs, synthetics, etc. and when the liquidity dried up. The only reason the global economy didn't collapse was due to Central banks stepping in and injecting/providing liquidity. I wonder if this would happen for decentralized cryptos and have my doubts.

A lot of noise is being made about bitcoin running up to 100k+, but I think everyone thinks its a party until the music stops and exchanges run out of fiat or become insolvent with the demise of tether. I never realized the float was that large and think this is a huge black swan event.

I don't think its a crypto "killer" and see value in blockchain tech, but the collapse can cause a massive price shock and am concerned for those that are levered using money out of their retirement accounts or taking loans against their homes. Sure there is a possibility it may go on for a few more days or even years, and people in the ecosystem may say ill pull the money out before.... many said the same with other investments also before other collapses and were not able to do so.

Crashes happen when people least expect it.

While i appreciate your comment, its not about missing the train. Fortunatelty Ive made plenty and am agnostic on investment type; focusing on risk/reward.

What I dont appreciate when exaggerated narratives and false inference that crypto is a less risky investment, which it definately is not.

Again some people have to learn the hard way with mean reversion.

Mean reversion into the ground DT6 lol

But seriously, when the tsunami hits, it is really difficult to stay afloat not get swept away. I'm not afraid to admit I hit NKLA KODK and while I think DOGE goes to $1 before cratering or it just becomes a self fulfilling prophecy from what was supposed to be the court jester. Just go with the flow. AAPL AMZN this week though and nextWink

If people didn't realize this in broad daylight the road rage from GME and continue to be sucker fed by the bobbleheads on CNBC they just have their heads buried in the sand.

He would have made more to hold it...I don't hold doge, but, it is unlikely that wherever he put his cash in 2019 outperformed doge.

it's funny how a meme crypto is literally worth 30billion dollars.

And also quickly fades away till the next hype given the buy the rumor and extreme leverage used. Characteristic of a typical pump and dump.

Faded Straight to $40 Billion. This is a bull year. Figure alts are good for one more good push, Ethereum good for at least $3.5k, bitcoin may be dead money here for a while, but as long as the fed is buying, the treasury is printing, and the economy is opening, bottom left to top right is the direction for almost all assets.

Pretty quiet when crypto is dropping... again characteristics of a pump and dump.

70% drawdown from where? That's the question.

Already down over -33%. SD members they would have taken a big hit now if they took this advice.

Sure it may pump again, but those that shill crypto eventually will dump on you. They need "fresh blood" to keep the ponzi going...

Gameplan still the same. Fiat is a losing bet every time.
So, we are back to February? Oh nos.

A week ago, I posted on my twitter feed that 30k was in play.

Guess what number we bounced from....on the nose?
