Other than size, the big difference is Crockpot is nonstick, and not good for metal utensils. The Intant Pot can be scraped and withstand abuse for a longer period of time.
Reviewers who have used both say the Crockpot is easier to control. It's a toss.

With few short lived exceptions $50 seems to be the low price point for a 6 qt I.P. Duo.
