If I was going to buy one of these, I might go with the Bestbuy Deal of the Day 10 qt Crockpot version.

Other than size, the big difference is Crockpot is nonstick, and not good for metal utensils. The Intant Pot can be scraped and withstand abuse for a longer period of time.

Reviewers who have used both say the Crockpot is easier to control. It's a toss.

I bought this one 2 weeks ago. I got rid of my 8 quart; it was just too big. This holds a lot.

That went quick! Instant Brands took their most loved reliable Duo 60 gave it the new Easy Seal lid and upgraded it with digital controls and a display that shows status focusing on what I.P. does best:
automatic electric pressure cooker with saute. https://instantpot.com/new-instan...reat-cook/

With few short lived exceptions $50 seems to be the low price point for a 6 qt I.P. Duo.

Scroll down to the bottom of Tomsguide review to see how a few of the models perform at the basic tasks.

It's a pressure cooker.

Looks like it's back. Now for $59.99.

Still a good deal for people who need one at the earliest.
